I just hope the jury seating in the Court has improved over the last few years. The hard wooden jury bench gave me a bad back for longer than the defendant's jail sentence! The place may be of historical interest, but it's not fit for purpose in the 21st century.

Shortage of judges (and money) means murder cases taking far too long to come to court and when they do it is virtually certain it will be classed as "manslaughter" in many cases that are to others, obviously murder, again and again. The murder cases get the obligatory "life sentence" that means nothing like LIFE and ends up as about 20 years or less, that is what a life is worth in the UK now. The latest farce of "concurrent" sentences is another money and prison space saver. No wonder crime is on the rise and faith in "justice" in the UK at an all time low.

Got through to 2 General enquiries rang 4 minutes no answer. I have tried to call back and none of the numbers given appear to be working. The call was made at 3.20 p.m.
