Rooms clean and comfortable.nWhen checking in and making payment we requested breakfast and assumed it had been done, although the receptionist was distracted by a colleague leaving work.nWent down for breakfast advised hadn’t been added but easily sorted.nOnce we paid we were told the coffee machine wasn’t working and they weren’t doing the buffet breakfast and took orders.nNo proper coffee no orange juice and when breakfast arrived poached eggs solid, beans cold and tomato barely warmed and hard! Awful! When you pay over £220 for your room plus £10.99 each for breakfast you expect a decent meal!
Lovely hotel. Nice and calm. Had a great night's sleep. New chef, Abhi, just started and cooked an amazing breakfast. Perfect poached eggs, well formed, perfectly trimmed and nice runny yolks accompanied with nice crispy bacon. Absolutely delicious!
*Business Visit*nnStandard but more modern Premier Inn rooms that feel relatively new.nnGreat location and quiet with polite and attentive staff.nnStandard Internet is shockingly slow, even for email and web-based work.nnCar Parking is Free after 5pm Monday-Friday but prior to that it’s 2hrs Max no return. You’ll have to park at the station which is £7.80 for 12 hours on the APCOA app details at station.nnOne of the better Premier Inn’s I’ve stayed at.
Sometimes, it's good to just get away for an evening and rest up before the week starts. The price on a Sunday is very reasonable, and check-in is early afternoon, 15:00. So there's plenty of time to kick back on a rainy day, or take the time to watch a film at the nearby depot cinema.nWe once had a complication with our room, which could not be resolved by the chap at the desk, nor by his immediate superior. However, the manager finally stepped in and resolved all with ease and left us feeling well treated and looked after. Thank you to her. We shall be staying again. The rooms are tidy and comfy. It's a bit noisy because of the hot air heating system, but otherwise, grand.
The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable, and the staff very helpful. I found it noisy at night, with thin walls and thin ceiling - makes it difficult to sleep. Wifi weak.
