Stayed for one night as a family of 3. Lovely and helpful staff, the room was very clean and spacious with everything that you'd need for a comfortable stay. Bed was very comfy too. Loved the breakfast, real juices not the squash you get in some other three star chains. English breakfast cooked to order, and lots of continental choices too. Central location. We loved it!
Stayed here a number of times over the years and can recommend it for comfort and location.nRight in the heart of Lewes, it is close to everything.nOnly thing that’s a bummer is no free parking although on this stay it was a Sunday and the public car park was free until 9am Monday morning.nBreakfast was OK, had the full English at £10.99, food was a bit on the lukewarm side and the Bacon was dry and hard.nSoukayna the breakfast host though gave very good service.nOverall a good place to stay and I recommend it.
Lovely location. Room very clean and comfortable.nFacility to make tea handy.nSadly I left my phone charger behind. It was plugged in beside the bed. Yet when I phoned the next morning, was told nothing handed in to the property team.nRoom 112.
The location was perfect, right in the heart of the town and with free parking on Sundays. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. I especially loved the complimentary breakfast in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay in Lewes. A truly fantastic experience!
Room was clean and comfortable. I slept very well. The location is ideal, just at the edge of the town, nice and quiet. The car park at the back is free overnight but you have to pay after 9am and then it’s limited to 3 hours so have to move the car. Something to bear in mind if you are driving. I would happily stay again. Lewes is an interesting town with lots of amazing old buildings.
