Our courts should be a public service in a democracy and accessible. I have spent a total of three hours trying to contact this court by phone with no success. My main reason for trying to make contact was to the courts time as I realize all our justice systems are under severe pressure. I wanted to avoid missing a court appearance that would waste their time. I have tried emailing but had no reply after a week. I could only give one star as a compliment on their automatic answering facility, I enjoyed the music.
I served affidavit papers in Hastings County Court today under Court Procedure 6.9. They refused to 'seal' them and gave me a compliment slip! The police in Hastings Police Station examined the documents and said they had no one in authority to receive them and gave them back.
have tried to contact for a week to find out how to pay fees for a case....no-one answers i now have 2 hours left will have to take afternoon off work to go in person
Does anybody work at this court, nobody ever answers the phone! I attended court for a hearing, no direction from the court staff whilst there, and I have not received a copy of the judgement. They've effectively taken my money and I have nothing to show for it. Trying to get through at the moment, 50 mins so far, yet I'm being told average call times are 20 mins!! Gets to 5pm and the message changes to 'we are closed' - laughable!
Disgraceful! I have called 3 times per day over a 9 working day period to both the court number and the bailiff numbers and never ever had the phone answered. Should be bloody ashamed of yourselves. You're supposed to be a public service?? I cannot believe that the only good reviews you have are about the quality of the food in the canteen!!
The phone line advertised on google is dead and emails bounce back..
What a joke your telephone service are.have called 4 times today and waited 20 mins each time. I don't actually thing any one works in any department.
Awful, incompetent & hopeless service.
Been trying to get hold of someone for 4 days... never awnser the phone
Great security and front desk staff but the magistrates are all a bunch of corrupt villians with zero qualifications to do their "job".
