Please do NOT use this practice. Avoid avoid avoid!!! The staff is extremely rude, even just over the phone, and the doctor is never doing his job properly. Missed my first pregnancy scan because of them as well as important test. The doctor prescribed me strong and always the wrong medication despite the fact that I am pregnant and he knows that. No warning! Luckily, my midwife alerted me on time. They have changed their opening times only to mornings 8am to 12pm again no text or letter from them letting us know, I had to find out by myself after calling desperately one afternoon for ages. Poor communication! Moved from my previous place over 2 years ago and despite the fact that I communicated this to them, still, everytime I call and have to confirm the address is still the old one, they just cannot be bothered to do a proper job. Very disappointed with this surgery.
This is the 2nd time I have booked a telephone call appointment with no response at all, even when I was referred by a 111 report! Small surgery; staff are more concerned with their own issues than those of the patient. Over a period of weeks I have experienced staff sarcasm, patronising remarks, lack of real concern for my situation and health issues, petty overprotective reactions from reception staff and a real feeling of their problems being more important than the patient. Think the Covid press has had a seriously negative affect. NHS staff stardom in GP surgeries and hospitals has now worn very thin. They are ‘milking it’. The words ‘laziness and uncaring’ come to mind every time I and my family/friends deal with the NHS. Shame, as everyone I know has worked all their adult lives, subsequently paying the NHS for their service. Very poor show!!!
I went there twice in the afternoons on the 29th and 30th of November. It was a bit late still well within their business hours on the 29th and they were closed so I went before 4pm the next day, only to find this note. But I thought it wasn’t 1st December yet? :
Our family has been deducted from the surgery without any notice after moving only 0.5 mile away. We found out about it only when we went to the pharmacy to get our medicines. Absolutely irresponsible and inhumane attitude.
'Registered' over a month ago. Chased confirmation when I needed to book an appointment to be told it hadn't been processed yet and then that they are now full and refuse to accept me. The receptionists were nice enough people but seemed hell-bent on me not being in the catchment area... however I could pretty much stretch out my arm and touch the surgery from my front door much to their irritation. To wait all this time and only find out when I went to book an appointment is unacceptable. Imagine if was more urgent? To waste my time filling out forms and then be told they are full despite telling me I could register before is also unacceptable. Really poor form. Avoid at all costs.
Wonderful staff , doctors ,nurse.. always helpful .
