Very nice local pub easy walking distance from Whitley Bay Town Centre. As an Amber Taverns pub it has a good range of drinks at great prices and always has Sports on the TV.Service: 5/5
Been coming here for years to be honest the ambience on a match day is second to none staff are warm welcoming and friendly at times there's a shout and they've gone to the trouble of ordering fresh pizza's for the bar for customers during the game!! With businesses struggling at times like these what a fantastic thing to do and to be honest it isn't needed and the punters would still come back Proper pub for people who know how to keep a community together, well done and thank you all and a big happy birthday to the new manager for yesterday xx
Literally walked in and had the manger chasing me and me friends round around saying we are underage hadn't even walked in so rude she was like are you going to the toilet I was like yes and she said "after that you need to leave because your underage, and where are your mates" laughing i turned around me, and said "excuse me i actually have id" and me mates are at the toilet and they both had ID" never apologised just kept being rude, disgusting was here not long ago and another lass was on and had a great time shame the owner of the place can't run the place better than the workers she makes people want to leave, like I didn't even want to drink in there after the atmosphere she caused, harassing me and my friends it was one of there 20th too wouldn't recommend going here unless you want chased around by a wifey screaming at you who doesn't even ask for ID and brays of people's toilet, didnt even let me friends wash there hands was in the toilet saying give is your id now wouldn't even let them finish up disgusting if you ask me.

I little walk out of town but what a warm welcome. Made us feel like part of the family. Pity we found this pub on the last night at Whitley bay. Great local pub. Fab
Great pub, gets full of local characters. Lee and all the staff very helpful and welcoming.. Has just recently been decorated, so all new and fresh..
"A proper Geordie pub.." Great craic with people in bar who might have just met. Friendly, and welcoming with great prices. Go in on a Saturday night, and the karaoke will make you laugh and wince. "Marvellous..!"

Quite a ran down bar near ice rink..great for locals though to the area for a quick drink.
