Lovely place, friendly stuff, reasonable prices and great ambient.
Prompt, friendly service. Comfortable seating and canny experience. Shouting people near us when watching England-Nigeria makes this place just miss on 5 stars.
Its a perfect winter pub. Lovely, traditional style with local old pictures and ship style decor. It has a pool table and has plenty of space. No food and not the best selection of ale.
The beer is good and reasonably priced. Most of the bar staff are friendly but it is spoiled by one barmaid who is loud and is more concerned with talking to regulars than actually serving. Apart from this it is a good place to drink.
A very old traditional pub . We used to have a pint after work in this pub as it was opposite our accommodation. The toilets smelt like a fish mongers tho.
A couple of good ales. Large pub, could do with a bit of atmosphere.
