Good for football and beer. But basic selection. Manager never there, always on hols. Toilets disgusting, really.. Bar staff don't wash hands after a smoke, saw one in loo once who didn't wash after peeing, disgusting

Called into the townhouse in Whitley Bay, there was about 18 of us who had been walking with a walking group.  There were two teenagers with us, we walked in and the look on the barman's face said it all, he wasn't happy with us being there and then said kids aren't allowed in.  Our experience in your pub wasn't pleasant at all and we were made to feel very uncomfortable.  I for one will never go back to this place, very unprofessional.

We did a litter pick along the high street a few weeks back and filled bags with cigarette ends dumped outside pubs and restaurants bus stops and gutters- pretty horrible job but definitely needed it. So today I was very disappointed to see our neighbours using the Townhouse using the pavement outside the entrance as a place to throw cigarette ends. This is littering the street and disrespects the pride other people take in making Whitley Bay a clean tidy place to live work and visit. Please deter your customers place appropriate bins outside and do your bit. Thank you

This is my go to place to watch the football in Whitley Bay. Cheap and cheerful, nice staff, plenty of TVs, 2 pool tables and darts. Good to head down with mates or just to pop in for a quick pint after work.

Suppoed to be a sports bar. But was in for Liverpool semi final of champions league. Staff would not put sound kn until match kicked off. Even though every one was in dor the game. Need to get your game together before new sports bar open in whitley 3weeks time.

hated the experience. customer service was bad and the waiters took far too long to provide the food. they were rude and unhelpful and the food was OK quality however wast adequate due to the time it took to receive the food. If your looking for a local pub or place to get food we would not recommend going here.

Always a fun place to visit! Bar Staff Are Great....Toasted Ham n Cheese , Cheese n Onion Toastie are Excellent! = free bag o ' crisps Too !! What MORE Could You Want ?!!

Amazing barstaff, nice events like band night. Very chill bar and you get served quickly.

Excellent food and wicked range of drinks at unbelievably low prices. A fantastic place to enjoy a meal and a tipple if you are in Gosforth.

Function room freezing cold, no heating apparently not working people having to sit with their coats on! During this period of horrible weather really isn't acceptable regardless if it's free or not. Advice; wrap up as if you are going to be outside!
