Based on my personal experiences over the last couple of years, Leeds Festival has not failed to resonate with a unique, wonderful vibe that you won't find at another music event. Upon entry I'm always greeted with friendly staff and security, who also roam the site regularly once inside, giving help and advice when needed. The sprawling campsites provide a spaced out place to stay for the weekend, and despite their size are never too far away from toilets, water points, or the arena. The toilets do become quite grimy over the weekend (which is to be expected), but are kept well enough by staff, never arising as an issue. The drinking water is clean and I had no issues filling up bottles when required. The arena itself is huge, accommodating several stages with the massive main stage at the helm. The sound quality has always been great in my opinion, especially from the main stage. Upon entry, security check for any contraband and make sure you're wearing a wristband. Again, there are plenty of toilets and water points here too. If you're worried about entertainment once the arena closes, fear not. There are two smaller stages within the campsites, "Piccadilly Party" and the "Relentless Stage", both fantastic and open until early hours, providing either a disco or rave scene, respectively. There's also a silent disco and dance tent. As long as you don't camp directly next to these, sound isn't much of an issue when you're trying to sleep. One peeve is had were the food/beverage points across the site. They're pricey, so come prepared if you're not willing to fork over a small fortune for a burger. Overall well organised, feels safe, and there's always something to do.

Facilities - 6/10 Location - 7/10 Staff helpfulness/staff friendliness - 8/10 Sound quality across all stages - 7/10 Safety - 1/10 (There was near to no security while entering the camping grounds) Overall - The worst festival experience for me which was down to the main headline acts not performing the the hype/standards. But in comparison to Download/Bestival and Glastonbury there are pros and cons to them all but with the constant smell of weed and the numerous small empty zip bags just made me feel like with additional management this festival could be so much more than the next T in the park
