Short stay not open until 09:30 which seems contrived,I used long stay as the alternative, paid minimum charge of £4.50 despite only requiring one hour. My £4.50 as per signs should have afforded me 4 hours but the ticket spat out reflected one hour!! Thanks to this I had to sprint to and from the dentist to avoid a fine!
Parked here today as was visiting my daughter in her new apartment, paid at the pay and display and plused it as thought 1 day was maximum, payed by card and when I got my ticket it had charged me £40.50!!! I’d mistakenly payed for all weekend I think. I was horrified at this charge as thought I was paying &8.00 for a day. Saw a car park attendant who informed me nothing could be done all I could do was try and ring on Monday morning, highly unlikely I would get a refund!! Cheers for a good start to the day I am mortified.
Convenient to central Leeds, one of the more reasonably priced £3 all day Sunday. A little more secure than parking on the street - it's fenced and there are parking attendants, but it's very large. The side pedestrian gates are open 6am-9pm, so if you're parking there late you might have to walk to the front gatehouse entrance.
It's fairly handy for the town centre. Could do with a good resurfacing and a people exit and entrance nearer to the town. It's a bit of a trail with shopping when it's raining, even if it does increase your step count!
Beware the machines. Input delays combined with contactless payment resulted in a £26 payment the next jump up from the intended £4.80. Car park also has bad drainage/flooding in heavy rain and walk ways destined to dirty your car.
Its a car park with an Art mesuem and pub on the old Tetley brewing site . Its a small walk away from the trinity car park that is tripple the price. If you want low cost easy accessed parking that is less than a stones throw from the city's night life and shops then this is it. Be aware though this is not 24hr parking check the gate closing time... Words to the wise.
THIS CAR PARK IS NOT SAFE OR SECURE AND A HOTSPOT FOR CAR CRIME. I have my van stolen from here in November 2018. I would have thought paying £8 would ensure that car park security is fit for purpose. After finding my van missing it transpires that CCTV coverage is limited at best and of poor quality apparently some cameras have been removed for various reasons and not replaced, rendering it practically useless. Security attendance in the day is practically non-existent with a single attendant covering this and four other car parks. When I met the security guard, his face dropped with a 'not again' look as he told me there have been 14 thefts in this year alone. If that is the case, why is the security provision so poor leaving vehicles and customers' personal safety at risk. The revenue from that car park must be substantial so it's not acceptable to have such low security investment. Signage to say 'left at owners' risk' does not cover the duty of care and responsibility the operator has to ensure a reasonable level of security is provided. I would argue that this constitutes negligence.
A very reasonably priced car park for the centre of Leeds. Be careful where to park as some is reserved for local businesses. Sone long stay and some short stay. I imagine you get fined if you park in the wrong section.
Handy place to park, range of prices some quite steep with very good prices for Sunday. Plenty of spaces. Doesn't feel very safe though.
rip off fees. I was charged £100 as a fine for going over a ticket by a few minuets. I will NEVER be using this car park again.
