Excellent building, galleries and exhibits. However, despite having children's facilities this is not a place to bring your offspring. Although the staff are friendly and polite we felt like we were constantly being berated by curators telling us off every time it looked like one of our two (well behaved) children (2 and 5 years old) might be about to touch something. We were even asked to stop the children touching the rope barrier that is in place to stop people touching the exhibits.

Call me a cynic but on a quick visit I did not find the ground floor exhibits inspiring enough to encourage me to view the other floors. There is an art space however which has creative materials, art books etc for use by kids (and parents!). This was my favourite part of my visit!

Definitely worth a visit. A relatively modest art gallery spread across multiple floors, featuring a variety of art. With interactive "DIY Art" spaces with some organized activity sessions during school holidays. There's also a cafe / bar but I didn't go so I can't say whether it's any good, but it was definitely there and it looked quite nice and quite large.

The beautiful building is an excellent place to spend time in a calming and thought provoking way. Spend as long or as little time as you like to explore the works with staff available to question and educate.

Various rooms of paintings sculptures photos and other media. Toilets cafe library and an area for children to try their hands at producing a masterpiece. Exhibits are changed from time to time, well worth a visit.
