I went to this library to return a book and I was greeted by a lovely staff member who took the time to find me a suitable book replacement, she was really friendly and took an interest in me and my reading. I left with high customer satisfaction.
IT suite, fiction and non fiction books. Quiet study areas. Helpful and friendly staff. Clean toilet useful for long study/ revision days.
Small lovely library. Staff is really helpful. It s clean and have a nice enviroment. I also took my toddler to a story time activity it was wonderful. They have an area for children where they can also enjoy a library experience since very young age. They have parking at the back for those who are not local.

Great place to focus and get thongs done. Internet connection is bad generally if you are using your own laptop. Friendly staff and clean toilet. Parking available for customers. And easy to go out buy something to eat or coffee as lot of shops around 2 min walk distance. Loved studying there from 9 to 7pm on Monday.
Picked up reserved book with no problems. Car parking available Not happy customers entering without masks and not being approached by staff to see why.
I work remotely for my employer and found this library nearby. It's a great place to be when you're looking to get out of your house for some productive work. They also have good variety of books so if you need a break from your daily routine then you can always visit this library for some quality reading. Staff is very helpful as well so if you're looking for something in particular then feel free to grab them. Only negative is the slow WiFi so if you're looking to do some work on your laptop then don't forget to use your mobile personal hotspot as that would be at least 100 times faster than the WiFi here.
Poor, litter in the car park and at the front on the grass , near the bike stands , never cleared away. Untidy inside , bit of a dump , newspapers , sweet and crisp packets left overnight , never seem to be cleared away before opening, not a good impression. Poor "choice" of books, same old stuff. Some of the temp/ volunteer staff are rude , never get a good morning or hello greeting. The main staff seem to be a bit work shy, never seem to be about. Either moving books on shelves, disappearing up the stairs constantly or in the room behind the counter gossiping about their private lives or complaining or slagging off the library management. A note to the staff, the public can overhear everything you say. Avoid Wednesday morning, its the small kids sing-a- long hour, truly dreadfull racket , especially the out of tune staff member , usually Andrea. Photocopies and pc printer charge a rip off 15p per A4 b/w page. Best avoid this place, noisy and indifferent staff.
Staff couldn't be more helpful. Brilliant experience. Many retail shops should look at their local authorities to see how to manage public areas regarding the pandemic.
I suspect a late fines scam! No stamp in my books, so I returned them to be told my 2 books were 3weeks late and before I can use the Internet I must pay the extortion of £27... wouldn't be so bad but my books wernt stamped with a return date... upon showing this to staff hoping for some descressional leniency I was told that they no longer stamp books! Which I don't think is true.. so NO.. plus it's late opening times make it inconvenient to return books or make a quick Early visit.
