For lunch and dinner, there are lighter bites, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas. Wetherspoon has championed a wide range of drinks, including real ales, craft beers, gins and soft drinks. Table service is available via the Wetherspoon app, using our unlimited free Wi-Fi. Good breakfast, mostly! Faversham is full of trendy eateries but you won’t beat spoons for value and good staff.
Ordered food and drink via the app. The food came within 25 minutes. Asked the server where our drinks were. He said there was a 45 minute wait at the bar from that point. We ended up leaving without having our drinks as we had a paid event we were going Tom very disappointed. You would have thought the app would have told you there was a wait time when serving .
It's a Wetherspoons- so it's nice and cheap which is a bonus. It has a nice large bar but the actual pub itself is quite small as Wetherspoons go. It normally has a pretty decent vibe and it is largely open planned although there are a few booth style seating areas, it can get pretty busy here depending on what time you visit. There is a nice, secluded courtyard garden with additional seating for those warmer days which has a few plants and is a nice place to spend an afternoon. The service was a bit slow on our last visit and we did have to ask twice when our food would be ready.
Quite a nice space, it's not a giant cavernous pub by Wetherspoons standards but large for a Faversham pub. It offered five or six cask conditioned beers but all but one were tiresome national brands like Doom Bar and Hobgoblin. You really know what you're going to get as a pub experience and the people on there. It's a Spoons! No visit to Faversham is complete without walking straight past the Leading Light. Sometimes it's open when better pubs aren't. Hence my visit.
Clean, efficient and polite staff. Food came out quickly and without fuss. Out of some things but swaps were offered fairly. Good establishment.
Had a breakfast here, very big portion. Very well priced and very fast service. Will definitely go back again.
Great service, very reasonably priced food. Ladies was lovely and clean too
This pub is AMAZING! As I walk in I am greeted by the alluring aroma of damp canine. Lucky for me I find a seat amongst the sea of crockery, tissue and glassware display, obviously a popular exhibition in such a renowned establishment. I sit, and to my good fortune realise I have a prime view of its patrons! Oh you beauties! Hungry, yes please! Upon perusal of the menu, I was delighted to find the only available thing on the menu was the mouth-watering burger! Mmm pictures to make your taste buds tingle attached. After an hour to get a know and feel for this historic tavern, my meal arrived with a flourish. My partner thinks it was dumped, I say flourished for presentation To sum up this pub is number one star in my books! Tell your friends To get a tetanus shot before coming!
Plenty of choice for real ale including local shepherd neame ales. Nice garden area. Very popular.
Nice pub with outdoor seating at rear. Friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy. We were hoping to have a Full English. But too late for breakfast We went for brunch instead which was almost identical. Would have liked toast with it Which I didn't think was asking too much but was told it wasn't an option!
