This is a nice little restaurant serving traditional French cuisine. Both atmosphere & service are good. Food, however, is less exciting. I liked my crepe & whitebait. All the other dishes were quite standard, but nothing really stood out as special. Prices, I must say, were not bad especially for sets.Food: 3/5
Nice atmosphere and decorum but the food is a bit underwhelming: you’d never get such a commercially produced baguette in any decent French place. Steak was nice, chips were not fresh, there was too much jam in fried camembert, the piece of salmon in the salad way too small for almost £20 a portion. The staff were nice.Food: 3/5
This is a really sweet, small bistro in the heart of Islington. The staff were very friendly but the food was not great. The calamari was very oily and the chips tasted like frozen oven chips. The potatoes were really nice though. We heard another table complain about the chips too. Everything else was okay.Food: 3/5
Fresh flowers on the table, attentive, polite and professional service - serving excellent food. Gem of a find as my son moves to this area for continued studies. Thoroughly recommend this French independent Bistro!
One of the best French Bistros in London, a slics of Paris. Great, affordable French food. Really good set menu deals too. Great spot for a catch-up or a date. One of Angel's hidden gems.Food: 5/5
Very reasonable price, but the food taste is just average. Ordered beef stew, but it is overcooked and chewy. The snails are small and not much flavours.Food: 3/5
We really enjoyed the food here. A little taste of France!Food: 5/5
Dropped by for a fix of French Onion soup. The soup was not bad. Love the interior of the restaurant with its blue cheque tablecloths.
Went in here on Monday and oh my was this a wonderful experience. We were served by 3 lovely girls who were wonderfully attentive. Ordered the snails and frogs legs for starters to try some new food and it was delicious!!! My partner and I then had the duck leg and rabbit as main and I think this is some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Definitely recommend this place. Will be back!!!
Had nice dinner with friend tonight. I would recommend frog legs, one of my favorite French dishes. The cheese is also good, and dessert Food: 5/5
