Lovely meal!! There were 7 of us and the food was fantastic as we were able to share it all. We ordered both seafood and meat options and both were exquisite, my favourite probably being the octopus just because it’s a little unique. The staff were really busy but lovely, and the restaurant was cute and small but very Loud so please keep in mind. It was so loud I couldn’t think. But recommend for a nice Spanish meal
Very good tapas style Spanish food. Most of the dishes we had were great though we weren't sure about a few. We loved the patatas bravas and calamari. The calamari was so fresh and tender, just lovely. Iberico pork was yummy, went really well with the salty cherry tomatoes and red peppers. The courgette salad with machengo wasn't to our taste, the drizzled honey overpowered both the cheese and courgette. The chorizo we felt could have been more caramelised. Overall a very enjoyable meal.
Best Spanish food in London, family run and it shows! So good we had the sea bass for dessert. Hakim waited on us and couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll be backFood: 5/5
Very good food, friendly and prompt service. The establishment is located on a very good spot on columbia road. Didn't try any sea food or wine but we will definitely return in order to do so. Highly recommend if you happen to be around.
We came here with a reservation for a birthday dinner for 4. We had a large selection of their dishes, including some of their brand new specials! We started with a Surtido de Embutidos cured meat platter, which was freshly cut and delicious with the Manchego cheese, could be better with honey or a jam with it. To drink we had a jug of refreshing sangria and a homemade lemonade very acidic. We had a selection of tapas plates, from the menu, the padron peppers, the barbecue courgettes with rosemary manchego and honey, the seafood and chicken paella, cauliflower florets and the iberico pork shoulder bbq’d and sliced, tasted wonderful and soft, well seasoned, great presentation. From the brand new specials board we had the iberico pork cheeks with sweet potato purée delicious but could have had more seasoning on the pork and we thought the serving size was too small and the roast pumpkin with parsnip purée fabulous flavour. For dessert we had the churros con chocolate and the cheesecake. Awesome little restaurant with great atmosphere, especially with the fabric serviettes and good quality cutlery. Would recommend a reservation, just note we were limited to 1 hour 45 on a Friday night due to back to back bookings. Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian dishes, we enjoyed the passion peppers, the cauliflower florets, and the roasted courgette with manchego cheese and honey.
All the dishes were delicious and the servers are all so friendly. It's a small restaurant but fills up quickly. My favorites are the bbq pork shoulder, pork belly, bbq octopus, and the serano croquettes.Food: 4/5
We enjoyed the food-appetising flavours and the prawns were particularly delicious. Service was efficient and friendly. Unfortunately the experience was hugely let down by the incredibly loud music playing. I don’t understand why a food establishments needs to play music so loud at 1pm when people are sitting down with their families to eat lunch? We were a party of 5 and we couldn’t have a conversation at all without shouting across the table at each other so we basically gave up and didn’t talk.
I only had churros. They were great. BUT ask for them to be served on the side. They get soggy served pre-dipped in the chocolate, that was unfortunate. Hopefully the owners would also recognise this Churro-Sin whipped cream not needed either.Food: 5/5
Lovely little family run Spanish restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, with a warm welcome and always a smile. The food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. My standout dishes were the Croquetas & Galician Pulpo a Feira. My least favourite item sadly was the Calamares a la Romana which were not crispy as I'd hoped. For dessert I'd recommend the Tarta de Queso - Cheesecake, which the waitress recommended as her favourite dessert. We did have to remind the staff for our cafe cafe bombón as they'd forgotten about it. I would recommend booking a table for the dinner service.
