Cava Sangria Magic: Effervescent, fruity and dangerously good Menu gems: Maria, my culinary compass, led me off the beaten path. The vegan Berenjenas Fritas - crispy eggplant drizzled with cane honey - surprised and delighted. The Truffle-infused Croquetas de Boletus? A crispy symphony. Amazing food!!! Really nice place, big and spacious and also well decorated. Croquetas de boletus y trufa: very creamy and crispy croquettes, intense flavour and probably one of the best croquettes I’ve ever eaten. Chorizo: well cooked chorizo but not very crispy, nice taste and good quantity. Huevos rotos with ham: simple plate as it’s just fries and eggs but the crispy onion does add flavour to it, would recommend to ask for a bit of salt. Carrilleras: very soft meat and good texture, tasty and creamy mashed. Crema catalana: I ordered with high expectations as I love it. Wasn’t very tasty, the caramel on top was actually good. Overall I do recommend this place, the staff is very nice and good atmosphere.
We ordered a selection of classic tapas which tasted good and was served promptly. But there were some issues that I wanted to communicate about our visit: 1: At some point the restaurant switched from their usual sound system to another one to play Happy Birthday. The playback was really broken and juddery. It was painful to listen to. Needs fixing! 2: We had to get up and pay the bill at the counter after it was taking some time to arrive we had to go somewhere else afterwards. The pay-at-table stickers on the tables didn’t seem to be working.
A very good atmosphere Spanish restaurant in London east, with a live band Brazilianplaying excellent music only on Thurs n Sat. The food was so delicious, we order pepper, calamari, pork. I definitely recommend the paella which is almost the best I ever had....the only short fall was the taste of sangria...not am expected...I won't order next time.
Went with a group of four and were seated immediately. We ordered about 12 different tapas and they were all excellent. The croquettes were especially delightful. Drinks were good as well and everything was fairly priced. Service was excellent throughoutFood: 5/5
I love tapas. I love Barcelona. So when I accidentally stumbled past this place on the way to my hotel from the car park, I couldn't resist but to come back for some dinner entertainment! We didn't have a booking, and feared the worst when we saw how busy it was, but the gent at the door sat us down by the bar whilst he worked out where we could sit. A few moments later we were sat on a cute two-seater, in the thick of the action. We were presented with a food and drinks menu, but having that it was our first visit, it would have been rude to pass up their famous set menu with all the trimmings. We chucked in a jamon croquettes and a pan con tomate, just for good measure. These were accompanied by a bottle of rioja medium/light red and pint of Estrella Galicia! The food was all very good. The standout for me was the croquettes and the tortilla very rare that you get tortilla this good - eggs cooked just under - perfect!. The reason this got 5* would have been a 6* if possible was the attentive and friendly service. Turns out the friendly gent at the door was the owner, David. He was really great, gave us so much time to chat and make us feel welcome. He even sent over his sherry expert, Will, to talk us through some post meal Fino options. I had the most incredible oloroso with some cheese, just wow. I hadn't seen any of the reviews before I came here, so really surprised to see the mixed bag. I had such a good night, the vibe was unreal and the meal was delightful. Wouldn't hesitate to come back, at all. Vamos!
The BEST Spanish restaurant I've ever tried! The Sangria was so amazing All the dishes were delicious. Especially the seafood on their paellas was so fresh and good quality. The owner David was very kind and nice, and it was a lovely place to have lunch/dinner with friends. I would definitely return and recommend this place!Food: 5/5
We had a great meal. Not only was the food delicious, it was served with care and attention. When the evening got chilly they got us patio heaters and blankets. We were celebrating a special occasion and they made it extra special. Highly recommend Barcelona restaurant. Will be going back.Food: 5/5
DO NOT ORDER THE SANGRIA OR TAPAS £101 for a sharing platter of cheap food and a jug of cheap Sangria Absolute joke pricing. We didn't even take one single picture of the food because it was so lame. £30 on the menu I thought "ok order for 1 and £15 each" WRONG, they DOUBLE IT Also you might notice I ordered "£16" worth of extras, also wrong. It was because I asked them to replace the pork items with veg items, they did fairly cut these off the bill And the sangria they casually offer you is not just a glass or two it's a whole jug for 4 people at least I told them how unhappy I was with the bill, they didn't care at all, just asked if I would pay
