Absolutely loved it here. Sat outside and they were very helpful as my dad was on a mobility scooter. The various food was amazing, especially the prawns and spinach croquettes. Also a jug of sangria went down very well. Stunning views and a recommended dessert by the staff was amazing. Will be back. Thank youFood: 5/5
Best Tapas ever had in London! Only compared to the real deal in Spain. Good portions and great presentation. We had the octopus, the shrimps in olive oil, the lamb chops and “patatas bravas”. Desert was delicious brioche pudding and Tarte de Santiago. Staff was lovely and friendly. Compliments to the Chef!Food: 5/5
Food is ok, at par with other tapas places. Nothing impressive nor wrong. They grill things on spot, which gives a good flavor on their meat and seafood dishes. However, portion is on the small side. They did not serve bread beforehand. And you can see the ingredients are not the top notchgambas are just small shrimps The place is quite crowded. The staff and other customers kept hitting my chair. Sitting was not very comfortable. 37pp without drinking is making it difficult for me to come back again.
Bravas: A London Gem Bravas has consistently been a standout dining destination in London since its opening. My recent visit reaffirmed its reputation for exceptional cuisine and ambiance. A Sensory Experience The restaurant's quirky interior and prime location create a welcoming atmosphere. The menu is a delightful showcase of Spanish flavors, featuring dishes that are both familiar and innovative. Highlights from our meal included the savory anchovies, the crispy batata bravas, and the succulent prawns in chili oil. The octopus was cooked to perfection, tender yet with a satisfying bite. To conclude, the bread pudding was a decadent and indulgent treat. A Wine Lover's Paradise The extensive Spanish wine list is a testament to Bravas' commitment to authentic cuisine. The carefully curated selection offers something to suit every palate, from light and refreshing whites to bold and robust reds. A Must-Visit Bravas is more than just a restaurant; it's an experience. The combination of exceptional food, impeccable service, and a delightful atmosphere makes it a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience in London.
Lambchops, salmon and brioche dessert were stand out stars. Great views of St Katherine's dock. And they stock a nice dark beer in addition to the usual sangria.Food: 4/5
A lovely, authentic, Spanish restaurant in St Katherine's Dock. Wish I'd found this spot years ago as it's so easy to get home from being close to Tower Hill. The service is brilliant, we were well taken care of. The food is delicious, highly recommend the prawns, oysters, short rib and patatas bravas. As well as the tomato bread and padron peppers. It's a lovely, busy, restaurant, with Spanish chefs preparing your food in the open kitchen. Definitely worth a visit, and definitely plan to return!
Bravas at St. Katherine's Docks in London offers a comfortable tapas dining experience that was a nice place to share some small plates and enjoy some excellent company. During our visit, we sampled a variety of dishes trying to get a good sense of the restaurant's vibe and diverse menu. It all started to come out with an efficient regularity and the staff were keen to clear the plates as we went. The Brava Potatoes, were served with a Salsa Brava and a “Whipped-to-Order” Aioli - we enjoyed them. The Malaguena Salad, featuring pineapple, fennel, and a sherry vinaigrette, which I expected to pop with zing, but was actually fairly flat and straightforward As seafood lovers, we got the Gambas al Ajilo with chillies, garlic, olive oil, and coriander. These were flavorful, and I liked these and the lamb the most. The Yellowtail Tiradito, accompanied by tobiko, ponzu sauce, jalapeno, and daikon has some big flavours, which were okay, but with the strong citrus and jalapeno, it felt a little bit confused and made the yellowtail irrelevant. The meat dishes were the Galician Beef Short Ribs, the meat was fall apart tender and the crispy onion on top like onion rings were nice, if the menu didn’t mention truffle I might not have noticed it and think they could do definitely do something fresher to make this a stand out dish. The “Moorish Spiced Lamb Chops” were great and cooked perfectly and were the best dish. They come with a a rosemary aioli, which basically tasted like mayonnaise, but was still nice and the lamb is worth trying if you visit. Overall, Bravas offers a pleasant atmosphere and a nice variety of dishes, and I left thinking maybe we just ordered the wrong plates during our visit. It was still good enough to recommend visiting if you're looking for a reasonably priced meal in a charming location. While the food didn't blow us away, it was consistently good. We weren’t drinking, and It might be that enjoying some wine with your meal might be a requirement to elevating the experience even further. If you find yourself in the area and aren’t sure where else takes your fancy, why not give Bravas a go?
Fast and friendly service. Solid dishes, fun vibes. We really enjoyed the grilled octopus, the short rib and the sangria.Food: 5/5
This restaurant exceeded my expectations with its amazing location, exceptional food, service, and ambience. Despite being a Tuesday night, it was surprisingly busy. We enjoyed a fantastic selection of tapas, each with unique twists and interesting flavors. My favourites were the salmon rolls, foie gras, sea bass fish, and the outstanding torrija dessert with passion fruit ice cream!! I truly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back again soon, thanks
The waiter went above and beyond to make us a Tinto de Verano, even though it wasn't on the menu, which was a delightful start to our meal. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including the padron peppers, spinach croquettas, Burgos sliders, gambas al ajilo, and patatas bravas. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully prepared.Food: 4/5
