Great when you either go in the castle or just walk around the outside along the estuary. Be careful of carpark flooding as the estuary is tidal. Great area for dog walkers down along the estuary.

Lovely Castle over looking the sea, looks quite wonderful on a dark night with the lights shining on the walls. Worth a visit as is the whole town nice walks fantastic fish shop as well, plus a few good pubs too. Local toilets at only 20p a use are always clean and tidy as well. We love this location.

Laugharne is special. The Castle is situate in a beautiful setting and boasts a rich history. The town itself is a feast of interesting varied and well preserved period houses sitting alongside more humble but equally charming cottages and terraced houses along with more modern homes. The people are welcoming and friendly and then of course there is the wonderful Dylan Thomas connection. A gem of a town and one I have never tired of visiting over the past 60 years.

Lovely place weather permitting would have been nice to walk around. Raining and blowing a gale when visited.

Stunning! Car park nearby and a great walk to Dylan Thomas's boat house nearby or further to the church where he and his wife are buried.
