We had a lovely afternoon tea at The Owl & Pussycat in carmarthen. We arrived at 2:50 pm, just 10 minutes before their advertised closing time of 3:00 pm, but the team still welcomed us with a smile and provided excellent service without making us feel rushed.nnThe afternoon tea was delicious, the coffee was excellent, and everything was fresh and beautifully presented. It’s refreshing to find a place where the staff genuinely care about their customers, even right before closing.nnThank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome. We’ll definitely be back!
What a lovely and quaint cafe. As soon as you step inside the door you feel at home. The menu is varied and the food delicious and beautifully presented. Both my wife and I had smoked salmon and prawn open sandwich which was sublime. The ladies who own/run the cafe were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We thoroughly recommend this cafe.
Quaint tea rooms in laugherne. Stopped by whilst in laugherne on holiday. Staff were friendly and welcoming to both locals and tourists. The owner even asked if we’d like more boiling water for the teapot. All cakes etc. were homemade and delicious. The cafe was busy and bustling but the service was still quick. The current owner is looking to retire soon, I hope a new owner can continue the great food and drink offerings and atmosphere that is at the tea room.
Lovely tea room with a nice selection of sandwiches, baguettes, cawl and cakes! I had the crab/smoked salmon roll...was very tasty and reasonably priced!!my 2 friends had the cawl which came with a thick slice of bread, butter and cheese...again, reasonably priced! Hometown feel from the staff and the other customers! Would highly reccomend!!
Excellent food and hospitality at the Owl & Pussycat. Delightful staff, great menu choices and super dog friendly. We were very warmly welcomed by the staff, loved the old world cash register and even got bonus dog treats. Food was excellent, service was brilliant and would definitely return.
