I love it here. When I was unwell I walked here every morning and it's a great place to sit and relax and feed ducks in the summer. A lot of people forget that there are two sides to the reserve, the side opposite the car park is my favourite. Can be muddy at times so go prepared with footwear.

This is a small but significant little Reserve at the very end of New Road in Whittlesey (follow the signs for Household Waste). It sits on either side of the road and is a pleasant place to while away an hour or two. Even in damper weather it is quite navigable as it has well-defined paths and a boardwalk. there is a small parking area for around 8 cars but, at least on a Tuesday, I've never seen more than 3. This is a safe place to walk and is great for kids - supervised, of course. Worth a visit.
Note, also, that this is a great jump-off place for many great hikes around the countryside taking in the villages of Coates and Eastrea and taking in parts of the Nene Way and Hereward Way.
