AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Absolutely diabolical company that steal your money before they even know if they can get a product. Purchased a laptop in the sale, but they had failed to acquire a laptop at a price that was able to be sold for the sale price. They had stock in and were more than happy to sell at full price, but they would not honour the sale price. I was offered 3 poorer alternatives, or to find one on their site myself. I found another great laptop as an alternative, which was ordered via a salesman via email. Two days pass without any further tracking updates so I contacted them again only to be told they could not source the alternative for another two weeks!! After this, I requested a refund, and I am now awaiting to see whether they can even handle this correctly. Just abysmal.
I only bought from here because they had my item in stock and could deliver in two days. Paid my money, received my confirmation and was told the item was on its way. Then a few hours later was updated that the delivery would be in 12 days. Customer service has been fine but I don't like being lied to in the first place.
Do not trade in your old laptop with them . I met their criteria, power, ac adaptor, good condition 4-5 yrs old laptop and sent the laptop as was offered £79. After they checked it they reduced it to £59 saying their were some scratches on case and minor. I told them it was as per their criteria for a good condition laptop 4-5 yrs old. Obviously it was not going to look brand new and they were paying me accordingly. I think they play on the fact that once they have your laptop you will not want to go through a returns process so they will find minor faults deliberately to get your laptop of you cheaper. I will definitely never buy from them online in the future.
What a very honest, reliable company!! I ordered a £900 laptop last night, that already had a good discount applied on it... the MSI Evo Flip i7. I placed my order at 5pm, had a few issues contacting my bank. But Laptops direct were so helpful and understanding. The laptop was dispatched that same night and has just been delivered with DPD, amazing service! Will be back to buy a desktop PC next year sometime. Thank you
Laptop trade in service is very poor, I’d go so far as to say they are scamming people They give a competitive trade in value at first, once they receive it they tell you their are scratches which I knew as a fact were not there. I asked for a photo and got one that didn’t show any scratches, I requested my laptop back, not a single scratch on it! They tried to hussle me, GET LOST. I read another ladies review where they did the exact same
I ordered my laptop at 8pm and had it before 8am the next morning. They clearly know you're investing in something that will last you a long time and they also clearly care that you're getting the product you want. Would recommend to anyone that wants to buy a new laptop.
These truly are a rubbish company. I was quoted £70 for a laptop, then they reduced it to £10. I didn’t want the laptop back, so I accept the payment, as yet, three weeks later, I still haven’t had the £10. You can only contact them through email, or you have to phone them on an 087 number which costs a premium when using a mobile phone which most people use these days. I will pursue them for the £10, but personally I wish I’d just thrown the laptop in the bin
DO NOT BUY OFF THIS WEBSITE OR IT'S OTHER WEBSITE, BUY IT DIRECT. SCAM!!! Placed an order on the 24th January which gave me a delivery date for the 6th February as they were waiting for stock which I found out a few days later. I got another delivery date a week later for the 13th February as they were still waiting for stock, and today I've got another delivery date for the 17th February as they are apparently still waiting for stock... I've cancelled my order and claimed for a full refund. They were happy to take the full amount of £275.97 on the day I ordered it even though they never had it in their possession and were never going to. If I could give this company 0 stars I would! Avoid these scammers at all costs!!!
Repeat of the story so far- I ordered a pc to replace one I use for work, study, and gaming. Chose next day delivery as my laptop was dead and without it I have no way to work, study, or keep myself entertained. It arrived next day but the specs were not as advertised. graphics card was almost insultingly wrong and the main hard drive was not correctly installed. Called up and the tech team connected to confirm what I said. Was offered a refund or a replacement. Started the process for the refund and started looking for a replacement. Found a replacement with near identical specs to the one I initially ordered, so contacted them to request the replacement this was all the same day I'd recieved the pc and called for the return. Was told essentially that there was absolutely no way to organise the replacement or to reserve the replacement I'd found before the return had arrived with them and been checked. Fortunately when I eventually got assigned a case manager they were able to put the pc on hold. And was told it would be shipped once they had my missold pc back with them. Well I called again today as dpd said they'd delivered to them, and I was expecting them to check it on arrival and I would hopefully get my replacement tomorrow as I'd initially paid next day delivery and now I'm four days out. Was told that it can take up to three working days for it to be processed. And as it's Friday that means the process won't likely start till Monday. So the earliest I can hope to get my reserved replacement seems to be next Wednesday or Thursday! I ordered next day because I am without a pc, and from other reviews on here it looks like I might be being hopeful with my Thursday estimate. Mistakes like this should surely have priority for turnaround? TLDR: ordered next day on a pc, wrong pc sent, took weeks to replace, replacement was faulty, third pc was ok but still no refund on the SECOND MISTAKE THEY MADE. Should have priority on orders that the company messes up through no fault of customer. UPDATE 27/09 7 days still no replacement, no communication unless I call up and ask for an update. UPDATE 28/09 8days no replacement. Today I have been told that it can be up to 5 working days after they receive it before it's checked, and that they still haven't booked it in to be checked. I was the one who had to chase them up on this again. Hopefully the Final Update29/09 When I called again this morning thankfully the pc had been checked and they organised a delivery of my replacement for tomorrow. 30/09-IT STILL ISNT OVER Replacement pc arrived with faulty graphics card. Tried to see if a local repair shop could help before asking for a refund. 14/10 STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED REFUND ON THE SECOND FAULTY PC THEY SENT. They quote 3-5 days on their tech team checks. It was day 6 yesterday. They lied in emails and then on the phone. I was reassured that today I would be emailed with details on the refund. Their customer relations team lie constantly about getting back in touch and fob you off to "case managers" who then also do not help, or keep in touch. This company does not care about you once they have a payment set up.
Next day delivery promised but it's been 3 weeks. Terrible customer service, I've sent at least six emails + called Stephen, Mar, Raniela & Sam emailed back with no info/my questions haven't been answered, just platitudes. Just had a baby & am missing out on taking valuable photos due to still waiting for my phone just want my phone to arrive now but no end date in sight. Avoid this company at all costs. No discount or low priced product is worth this hassle.
