Boutique Bowling.

Story

Lane7 have chosen Newcastle upon Tyne to launch their boutique bowling alley. For those who aren’t aware of the concept then forget Formica tables, mass produced moulded seats, plastic hot dogs and blue slush puppies - think of the best bar you’ve ever been to. And then add ten pin bowling. Pool. A bit of ping pong and beer pong. Mini golf. And a karaoke booth (to keep those more into the Arts than Sports happy)!

Great spot for a day out. My cousins and a few others went there for a stag do. Bowling, beer pong and crazy golf all under 1 roof. The crazy golf isn't the most elaborate course ever, but considering how much stuff this place does that can certainly be forgiven. The ONLY thing that lets it down is the food. If you're veggie or if dairy doesn't agree with you, you're likely to end up hungry. Luckily the staff was really nice which is kinda the norm for Newcastle. All in all its perfect for a typical family days, birthdays, hen & stag do's... Or even maybe a budget date. Go check it out!

Department night out, started off with a buffet (or, more accurately, a feast) of lovely food, and a variety of activities to entertain us as the evening went on. We were well looked after and the staff were friendly in directing us to each activity, so the evening felt well planned but not forced. The activities are all excellent, and definitely make for a lovely night out.

Lane 7 just oozes style and charm, with it's retro American aesthetic. There's a variety of activites, namely bowling, mini golf, and pool tables. All are stylish, crisp, and pretty inexpensive, although your bowling rounds are over a bit quickly if there's not too many of you! I recommend going for a party or a day out with a bunch of family or friends, very worth the money!

A great Boutique bowling alley with mini golf. I've never been to anywhere like this so I can't compare, but I really enjoyed the experience and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It had a good selection of beers and wine.

Great night out! Lane 7 has so many things to do now... we were on a team night out and had a game of bowling, then played pool & ping ping with a feast of snacks put out as part of the package. Will certainly be going back soon
