Such a great place for a quick game of bowling with the family. Prices are decent and there's some arcade games for afterwards. The drinks prices are a bit high bit overall a great experience.
Good beer! Good lanes! Bit pricey but had a lovely time here. the arcade isn't upto much tho!
Easy to book in advance online. Relaxed atmosphere and great cocktails. Only thing I would improve is the layout to the bathrooms - having to walk through a large group playing beer pong to get to them can be a bit of a challenge.
My niece and I visited this place yesterday and we had a wonderful time. The ambience was just perfect, including it being well lit, the fabulous choice of music and the cleanliness of it. The manager, Dean I believe, was ever so kind and accommodating to us. I would definitely recommend this venue for a fun day out with family. I will be visiting with my sons in the not so distant future. Many thanks Dean!
Visited here saturday just gone, i booked this place for two games of bowling from 12.40pm til 2.20pm as a suprise for my brothers and sister who i was seeing again after 11years, at 1.50pm we were approached by a member of staff asking us to leave our table as there was another booking coming in now. We were rushed off before the time we were supposed to and couldnt even finish our drinks. I paid £67 for a bowling experience that was ruined due to being rushed away! As you can imagine this really ruined my reunion with my siblings.
Great bowling only small but more suited for adult party's as no under 18's after 7pm and it also serves some great cocktails, also open late
No bookings until Feb 2023 and it’s Sept right now, good one.
Been a couple of times now, highly recommend! Staff are friendly and the bar is well stocked. The bowling lanes are nicely set out so you don't get in other party's way too much going to and from the bar and it's all got a lovely retro feel. The arcade area has plenty of classic games to keep you entertained late into the night, including beer pong! Prices are reasonable for the bowling and tokens, drinks are a little high, but that's because of the quality of the spirits!
It's good don't get me wrong but a few things made our visit a bit off and these are why I couldn't give it 4 stars or 5. Firstly we arrived 10 minutes late. There was a large group using one of the 3 or 4 lanes the lady said she couldn't fit us in and to come back in an hour. it looked like there were 2 or 3 empty lanes ... We got back an hour later and the large group were still there in the first lane. There was way to many of them! The lane waitress service was non existant so we had to stop our game to go to the bar when we were told someone would come ask us/serve us. I think the massive group at the entrance to all the lanes basically blocked them from seeing us. Finally one game. You ring up and get one game. Needs to be offered more games on the phone. By all accounts the one in Newcastle is better and this one might get better but the hype of the place didn't deliver and maybe u am getting old but conversing was difficult music way to loud and noise of bowling is loud anyway. So I spent the evening saying "you what?". I think I'll give it another go as the prices were fantastic!
Prices here are insane. The place is pitch black and the lanes are very short. The arcade area is tiny and crammed. The beer pong is hilarious. You get a basic table and a ping pong ball. It's nothing special. Won't be going out my way to return.
