The local post office. They are open on Saturday’s, the service is fairly quick - normally they have 2 windows open. You can buy stamps, envelopes, good selections of cards, some sweets. They are going to be refurbished in February 2018 so the layout of the shop will change.

I never complain about anyone but just can’t believe the appalling behaviour of the owner of the Lancaster Road Post office!, the shop has two queues one for the main post office and one for sales, I just wanted to buy some festive stamps, stood in the shop queue for over ten minutes whilst a lady posted ONE card to Australia, once she had finished the the man behind the counter didn’t look at me, but cupped his hands and shouted NEXT please, to which I replied I am next and he just repeated this and pointed at the other queue, to which i replied thats the other queue? I was of course very confused by this point, he said its one queue today! and pointed at a TINY hand written cut up bit of cardboard box with that on it….. and wouldn’t serve me even though the people in the other queue had actually come in after me!!!! so I announced I would NEVER go in there again and he lost over £100 of stamp sales….. i am just TOTALLY amazed never ever seen anything like it, the lady behind me was close to tears! Merry Christmas hey! I don't even want to leave one star!!!!!

The staff are not welcoming, its a case of hurry up and go attitude. Not a good post office layout not easily accessible for wheelchairs.

What is this place? A post office or a shrine. Because that's what it smells like. They have lost 3 of my packages during sending. Horrible customer service. Closed on random days
