Horrible people at this shop particularly the fat old Indian guy and the Indian woman. They are rude, arrogant and try to overcharge. I have decided to start using the post Office in Palmers Green in future.

DO NOT POST HERE! after waiting for ages in the Que as the staff were extra extra slow, i finally was next, i could see the small fat Indian guy was looking at my breasts the whole time like some kind of pervert, he was even grinning when he noticed i realized what he was doing, upon that i had to send a parcel to my sister who was staying in Manchester, the small fat guy then asked me whats inside and i replied a new baby monitor, he laughed and said thats one for me then, i asked him what do you mean, he then said dont worry, i regret now not paying for tracked postage as it was quite expensive, THE PARCEL NEVER REACHED MY SISTER, i predict he never even sent it AND STOLE IT for himself, on my way out i stopped to look at some of the cards they had on offer, the same guy who served me quickly came from behind the counter and walked past me, as he did this he overly brushed past my bum i actually felt sickened! these guys are sick and thieves! DO NOT POST HERE !!!

Slow, rude and penny pinching thieves - recently moved my mail order business from ponders end to Winchmore hill - thus meaning I had to change my local post office to fulfil orders. I have had dealings with these guys prior and was dubious about using them again. Every time I have been in there previously they have attempted to over sell the postage options in order to pinch a few additional pennies - rather than focus on offering a good level of polite customer service. They often become rude when you refuse to pay more than necessary for an item and even resort to threats of "if it gets lost in the post you won't get your money back". I have been running online retail operations for years and I trust the Royal Mail and their delivery network - but these crooks at this post office are something else. I except to lose approximately 1 in 30 orders on average (this is just the way things are). But whenever I sent orders via this post office, I lose nearly 50% whist having to deal with their rudeness and penny pinching behaviour. I even saw a heavily pregnant lady with another young child, attempting to post an item. The flap on the back of her envelope had ever so slightly ripped and so she asked if they had a small piece of cello tape to repair it. Yet true to their unhelpful and penny pinching ways they demanded that she buy an entire roll otherwise they would not send it. Following their constant efforts to make me over pay for postage, I invested in a franking machine with scales so that I could pay for the correct postage myself and all they would need to do is receive my post and hold it for Royal Mail to collect (which as a post office franchise that works with the Royal Mail it is in their duty to do). Again with their penny pinching ways they were noticeable upset that I was no longer paying for the postage over their counter (and so they would not be receiving any further commission) they decided to take all sorts of issues with my post. Double and triple checking each and every item for its weight and thickness under the guise that they “have to check everything” even though I am using an up to date brand new franking machine and like I said earlier have been doing this for a long time and know exactly what the correct postage fees should be and the difference between large letter and small parcel is – so on and so forth. Yet they persist in being awkward and rude – talking to me as if I have no idea what I’m doing and again being very slow with their pedantic checks and awkwardness. They had even rejected my parcels based on a variety of reasons including in apparently and conveniently not fitting through the envelope even though they clearly did and other orders containing the exact same envelope and product were ok. Took these to another post office and they were accepted straight away. It was clear to me that they rejected these parcels in order to force me to pay again for the “correct” postage over the counter. I dislike discourteous people and also people who are clearly out to rob others. The difference is this is my business and a lot hinges on myself getting the postage correct, so I am very careful with this but they seem to be getting away with it for people who are using the service for personal reasons or to send single items every so often. If you disbelieve me, pop in there to send your next parcel and you will see exactly behaviour that I am talking about. Ridiculous people, if they worked a little harder, faster and tidied up their shop as well as their act, looked after their customers more, they would actually make more money than trying everything they can to overcharge just to gain a few extra pence. I now refuse to use them, gave them too many chances let along the unusually high number of conveniently lost parcels when compared to using other post offices (I take note of these things). Makes me wonder…
