Applied for a job here recently and could not be more disappointed with the handling of my application. Naturally, if it's not a good fit, there's little that can be done. That's fine. However, I didn't even receive any direct feedback and wasn't even notified that my application had been rejected. When I checked the online portal a few days after applying, it simply said 'unsuccessful'. It felt so impersonal. Considering this is supposed to be a community-focused institution, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect some human warmth and kindness. Oh, but that would be asking for too much, wouldn't it? If there's one thing I can say for certain, it's that I'll never apply for a job at LCC again. I'd rather work for a value-driven organisation that cares about people.
General/Website Poor customer focus/interest. Lack of open feedback requesting, reporting and monitoring. Badly designed survey questions and analysis that give little or no insights or just defend a political position/decision. Highways Restrictive and poor fault reporting mechanisms. No effective action on long standing 3+ years complaint about Traffic lights unnecessarily stopping through traffic at Euxton Lane/Sinclair Way. Likewise road repairs or pothole filling/patching practices. Flooding has been an issue for year outside the Insty on the A49. They said they had upgraded the drains to fix it. Yet it is still a problem. see pictures been like this all day on a main road!
I live in rossendale and can I say lancashire county council should be ashamed of themselves for letting all these traffic lights go up in the valley Every single week for past six weeks been lights between Rawtenstall and bacup and for toll bar stacksteads fourth fifth time been put up in the same place same hole it's a disgrace
Parasites, waste of public money, lack of rule of law - it's a waste of time on them.
Simply modern-day corporate mafia! Given a fine for stopping to take a call in a bus stop which happens to be a 10 metre bus lane! No letters for 9 months and then the debt collectors ring my place of work! Illegal to do so! Absolutely disgusting behaviour! £420 wanted there and then. NOT ALLOWED TO DISCUSS PAYMENT OPTIONS! PAY NOW! Paid in full to the most obnoxious punch of thieves to front a so-called 'company' and then a message after paying the whole lot for another £4 with NO explanation why! And so it goes on.
Corruption at its finest with parking fines don't bother contesting it goes right to there own private people who debate it for the court so they will say no aswell and send you so many letters after you even paid wanting more money don't deal with Peter Bell he profits alot from this in back hand deals
Parking dept, impossible to speak to a employee automated service is designed to deter the public from complaining Highhanded and incompetent. Received a letter 15mths after bus lane infringement from a debt collector 6 times the initial fine. Never received a notification from Lancashire CC parking.They double downed and stated to late to sort received this nugget via email. Still haven't spoke to a human. Disgraceful service needs a huge overhaul or some staff.
That bot lady keep talking talking talking without understanding number 4 and waste my time. It says this bot will be active in future omg disaster on its way
Finally today 1/8/23 after 2 days of hanging on the phone ranging from 20-40 mins I finally got through to an operative named Amber who could not give me the relevant information regarding my Uncle's Social Care Worker as non where available to speak to me?? I then told her it looks like my only option is to personally visit the Lancashire County Councils Offices 30miles from home to get the relevant information? I was shocked to be told by Amber that there was no Building or Offices for me to see anyone??? I said "You must be in a Building/Office as I am speaking to you" She then told me she was working from home as all other operatives are doing at present??? It must be the only County Council in the country that does not have any building/office???
I wrote a complaint about a four-way traffic light problem in which all lights were stuck on red on the A59 at Gisburn. The clots who run these roadworks had not the courtesy to reply to my complaint. Content with their inefficiency and ineptitude, they aborb huge quantities of cash but offer poor service in return.
