Having lived in the Czech Republic for six years I was expecting a relatively straight forward non bureaucratic approach in the Burnley job Centre. What I got was the total opposite. Endless trips to the job Centre at my expense to hand over documents previously submitted under different meeting titles to allegedly satisfy the notion I am living in the UK. This is despite being here for over six months now and having worked in that time. I have seen more sophisticated scams by Thai Tuk Tuk drivers at least they eventually admit they are just trying to rip you off.
Having read the other reviews I feel I should redress the balance - I have found the staff at Burnley JC+ to be most helpful and knowledgeable, they have given me good advice and I thank them for it.
Really helpful team on reception - Andy, Margaret & Tom - brilliant. No waiting, very supportive and helpful.
Not a free phone number at all charges you about £1 a minute on mobile.
All the Staff at Both job centres are very help full and the security to.
