Lancashire County Council employed ‘Home Care for You’ to care for my disabled mother with Alzheimer’s, so how did she end up with a big infected hole in her back? A grade 4 pressure ulcer. Adult social care safeguarding found that “Neglect did occur” and yet Lancashire County Council claim no responsibility, they offered my mother a paltry £200 for her pain and suffering! If you think that Lancashire County County have a duty of care to our elderly, think again. Appalling and disgusting.
If I could give 0 i would. To find my 65year old father and the 3 children he fosters in tears tonight due to being intimidated by some woman social worker he'd never heard off. who turned up with no warning and no ID to apparently check on the 3 vulnerable and did not like being refused access without ID! Disgusting to treat a man who has spent his life & opened his home to so many vulnerable children over the years this will not be happening again!
A 20 minute wait to be told I had been put through to an overspill line the telephonist exuding boredom and disinterest with every word...told that an adviser would call me back between 8 and 5 tomorrow... this is part of the caring system but truth be told the only thing that is cared about is budgets procedures and rules implemented with gusto to make the lives of the people who have paid into the care system that little bit more miserable

Hateful, anti-father Marxists, liars, refuse on the record or say they will but then don't, act like they have the power of judges, only believe children when they say something negative, their complaint system is a defensive joke. It won't let me give zero stars. My daughter hates them so much.
Done nothing but abuse me treat like dirt stitched up and had my four children removed on crystal ball evidence that in the future they may be harmed. Now trying to start up all over again two and half years later . Controlling my life won't let me live in peace and has a result I love everyday in fear and anxiety
disgusting! nearly 30 yrs to try to get some information. what was given years ago very little and humiliating. still living the traumas. I HATE the name Dobson...foster name of awful people! why would I want to carry it around with me...and another name change just hides it not gives me back my identity! Promised I would have the information required to prove my ID for a passport and now due to regulations have to prove my right to work with a passport when I was born here. I asked for help from another social worker in a different area and they never even responded to another professional. Bad enough having a bad childhood without this and having to keep on...One letter is all I wanted...promises they would not let me down...promises I would have this...on top of reading more about my childhood to find the name changes...also reading from another social worker what was not true....I feel humiliated all over again as I was a child....a total lack of self worth and dignity I have to beg for my ID and I cannot change the past or what was written sometimes but to hold my proof of Identity really does make me feel even more of a paid for child and that I really was unwanted.

No any services provided by them, waste of time I didn't understand that why government wasting millions on pounds of salaries on name of social services , totally disgusting, this department should have to close by government at least can save millions on pounds by taxpayers money,
LCC Preston refuse to even accept complaint let alone investigate. Rogue social workers and key complaints and legal dept personnel have intimidated a witness multiple times to keep things under wraps. The intimidating LCC lawyer while threatening high court action to silence me provably lied on record. They naturally refuse to investigate or acknowledge any emails on the matter or her gratuitous defamation on file which she will not comment on. They love to block whistle-blowers. Social work/safeguarding, complaints and their legal dept require external investigation. They appear unfit due to a number of gross misconducts that are disciplinary matters …. that they refuse to accept complaint of! These shady departments wouldn’t know truth if it hit them. Completely untrustworthy. My experience is they are determined not to investigate complaints that bring them into disrepute. They are non transparent to prevent investigation. They corruptly smear and defame complainant to deflect focus from themselves! Unbelievable can of worms. Investigating social worker types special signature with kisses over emails at the social worker they are pretending to investigate and having kisses returned. They don’t communicate like that with other colleagues. Bias? Investigation without fear or favour? … Yes, you guessed it … major enduring cover up and smear campaign with multiple defamation's initiated by these social workers. Their aggressive complaint team inappropriately slamming the phone down and refusing to acknowledge complaints ….. they are suppose to be public servants not abusers of the public ... Social workers openly covering up for each other and refusing comment etc. Whistleblowing statutory ‘duty to act’ and ‘duty of candour’ completely ignored by all including department heads. I have found them a highly disreputable bunch of thugs at best and have the hard material to prove it, but surprise surprise, they refuse to accept material or dialogue that incriminates them as they are basically as guilty as sin and know it... Their only defence is to threaten legal action to prevent exposure of their misdemeanours, or say nothing and not acknowledge or respond as they are incriminated up to their eyeballs. Quite a list of internal personnel involved bringing LCC into disrepute and being downright abusive. Meanwhile a trio of social workers and their overseer now requiring investigation around fitness to practice refuse comment but are protected by the social work, complaints and legal dept to perpetrate lies and institutional systematic abuse. 30 yrs I have worked in social care and have never come across such gross incompetence and plainly corrupt behaviours. This review is posted publicly as they guiltily refuse to even acknowledge complaints on their misconduct issues, let alone deal with them. I can offer no explanation for their institutional systematic abuse and obvious disability discrimination apart from plain dishonest wrong doings, gross misconducts and incompetence. I assume these traits accompany deeply ingrained internal corruption within the social service, complaints and diplomatic/legal depts. preventing the truth coming out. They certainly know how to harm people. Way beyond disgusted . These people and their local government department heads need bringing to book. This is exactly why social care horrors begin to happen. God help anyone recieving social care in Lancs.
