Friendly bar staff who wanted to discuss the history of the pub, which I found fascinating. Although I called the barman out on his knowledge of British monarchy ; don't think you can fool me fella haha! but it was a laugh and he did point me to various artifacts around the pub. Really liked it here
The food here is lovely, do not miss out on their Sunday roasts. Great friendly service and all measures in place to put your mind at rest with regard to the current climate. I shall be back again, this pub is a gem
Wonderful inn and they had ESB on and its the oldest bar in covent garden and a fantastic atmosphere
Such a cool pub, tucked away in the corner! Nice shopping all around the pub. Good fish and chips and ESB on draft.
Great food, great people and a historic landmark. The old “blood bucket” will not let you down. Dickens frequented this pub and it was known for its brawls. A great time!
