A heads up to anyone thinking of a picnic by the lake-apparently the cafe owns the land and they come and chase you away. We had little kids aged 2 and 5 and had to pack up and drive elsewhere. We were planning on going to the cafe for a coffee and cake after sandwiches but they lost that bit of business. Not the friendliest experience I have ever had. No signs to tell you picnics are not allowed.
