Had an absolute ball this weekend just been! Made use of Buzz, a well equipped, neat and tidy Volkswagen T5 that drove incredibly easily and was super comfortable too. Christian was super easy to get in contact with and made every effort to make the rental experience as easy as possible for myself, even picking me up and dropping me back at Oxenholme station. 10/10 for impeccable and professional service and would totally recommend for anyone wanting a weekend retreat in the gorgeous Lake District.

We took Sheila away for a long weekend touring the lakes and what a fantastic experience it was. Excellent van which wanted for nothing and attracted lots of attention wherever we went. Nikki is so welcoming and helped get our weekend off to a great start. The only downsides were the weather (well it is the Lake District) and having to hand Sheila back.

Hired Sheila a month ago and still talking about it! Excellent condition given the age and Niki was great, providing all the extras that you need to get you going. The refurbished interior was great quality and very clean. Highly recommended.

It is our dream to one day own a VW camper van and so to experience life in one my dad surprised us with a holiday in one:) We were so excited. When we arrived to pick Sheila up we were like kids at Christmas. 
We had a fantastic time. Travelling round the Lake District was fantastic. We were stopped many times asking us about Sheila. Just driving round the lanes and roads of the Lake District at our pace was delightful.
The whole experience from beginning to end was excellent. The helpful information we got was outstanding.
Thank you to Nikki for everything. We will definately be having another holiday with Lakes Camper Hire.

Just had a long weekend in Dennis the Menace! The overall experience was simple and straight forward, from the booking, collection and handover with Niki. Everything all ready on the day, including the extra's (awning and camp beds for the kids).  Spent a bit of time getting used to a 40 yo vehicle, which was immaculately clean and ready to go! We set off down the lane, and the fun started! Spent the next couple of days, chuckling about the whole experience, and how much fun Dennis is!  Huge amount of heads turned, and we found Dennis a couple of T2 friends on visit to Penrith which we parked him close to!  Can not recommend Lakes Camper Hire enough.  Already planning for next year in Buttercup or Sheila.
