Ordered Lakeland brand Mini oven on line and it arrived yesterday. Had a minor query for Lakeland but important for me. Phoned to ask how to use top/bottom elements together to set temperature required. Instruction Manual not entirely clear on this. It would seem that both elements should be set at the temperature required rather than the desired temperature divided into 2. The first advisor I spoke to said she didn't know and also didn't know who I could speak to and to "Try Google". Not a very professional response A while later I spoke to Iona who was, by comparison, superbly pleasant, polite and helpful and did all she could to help me. Well done Iona and thank-you! Sorry I did not catch the name of the first advisor. Would have given 4 stars if my query experience had been positive in the first place! P.S. Did not order or visit shop, ordered this item on line
Ordered a knife set as a gift, pushed next day delivery only to call when the item wasn't delivered to find out it had been cancelled as it doesn't come from their warehouse but directly from the manufacturer. No-one contacted to discuss the matter with us, and the first time I called they said it was on it's way. Terrible customer service.
Worth visiting as it's a historic site, but the store is oddly laid out, with no discernible reason bits of kitchen equipment are arrayed in one room or another. a nice ambience but not my favourite Lakeland.
Very bad, they are unaware of the details of some stock, Remoska, they are unable to confirm the standard of the teflon finish. So what else!
The building is magnificent. I wonder what it had been originally before it became a kitchen supply shop.
I have been shopping at Lakeland for years. Make this your first port of call for all kitchenware. Great service too
First time visitted the shop, one of the staff used her foot to point out to the product which is in the bottom shelf...I found it a little bit rude for some one who is working in a customer service .....
I purchased the freezer de-icer very disappointing didn't shift it at what a waste of money
great shop with lots of things for baking addicts!
