Very rude and disrespectful stuff Management laura was unbelievably rude and does not fit the title of work she is in !! Will definitely no be shopping at this argos again Not happy with the childish and stubborn behaviour I received!
Argos have gone from hero to zero. Ordered a laptop from their website on a click and collect on the same day. As soon as I ordered it the website said it was not in stock. I rang the store and got told it was in stock but I can't have it. I asked why? She couldn't tell me why. terrible store cancelled my order immediately. Shop elsewhere from now on
Have got a wide variety. Almost all items are easily available. Service is quick.
Bought a Bush Washer/Dryer costing £350 was really happy with the machine until it broke down 6 months later, it started smoking and could of set fire to my house but luckily I caught it in time! I have complained and told them this is a fire hazard but they are refusing to replace the machine and have sent a repair man to try and repair this one, he has been twice and logged both times unable to repair even though I would like it replaced as it's under warranty still! I have now been without a washing machine for 5 weeks and they are still saying they will have it repaired even though the part they THINK is broke is not in stock for the next 3/4 weeks so by then I will have been without a washing machine for 2 months! And it probably wont be fixed then as they don't even know what is actually wrong with it even though it's obviously the motor as it started smoking and smells burnt and the repair man has looked at the circuit board and said it looks fine but still going to replace that in 3/4 weeks when they eventually get it in stock! The Customer Service I am recieving is appalling and I would like to warn others! I will not be buying anymore appliances from Argos ever again and wish to warn everybody else to shop elsewhere if they want any decent sort of after service as Argos does not provide this.
Went into the store to pay off my wifes balance because she got locked out online. one of the employee's took my wife card and told me since im not my wife they have to keep it. so i asked can i still pay the balance im not here to use her card i just want to pay they said no. and was left with no information on how to get this done. i had to come online get a phone number to call only to understand that she is the only one that can use make payments on the card or call. so im like what the hell. anyway im just going to take our business to ''amazon'' or another store that will allow me to pay my wifes balance or we can use the card together.
Avoid Argos and shop elsewhere! Made use of the fast track option at my local Argos. The staff member who served me had no idea what the item I had ordered. When I asked if the sim would need to be registered. There did not know. I unpacked the dongle and set it up only for it not to work. Fine I thought. So I took it to a Vodafone store and was told my number had not be recognised. So I took it back to another Argos store and was served by a rude staff member. I told her about the number not being recognised by Vodafone. According to her the number is not at the bottom of the box. So where is it then? She did not bother to answer me. Her rude attitude was that I should be grateful that I am getting a refund! Not my first dongle and it never needed a SD card, so why should this one need it? Only it does not. I am finding the staff at Argos to not be up to the job in terms of no product knowledge and extremely poor customer service. My advice: shop elsewhere.
Very nice place for in store pickup of items ordered online. Prices are competitive.
Visited once to collect some stuff which i ordered online. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall impression of the the people of Ipswich is "they are friendly"
Staff are very condescending. They love to talk down at you like you know nothing at all.
Great deals. You can't physically inspect items but no major shocks on delivery. You usually get what you expect.
