Didn't stay, went for their roast dinner. It was amazing! The meat melted in your mouth and was incredibly lean! Very happy with the food and the service. Will definitely be a regular thing

Excellent, full of history, free wyfi, good food a cuppa from £1.70 friendly staff; just opposite Portsmouth Harbour Station as you come out.
Not a great pub. Lady behind the bar doesn't say thank you when you take your glass back or say goodbye when you say "Thanks for that" Other than that its okay beer.
Basic but clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful telling us the best places to visit. If you're looking for something cheap, central and affordable, this is the one for you .
Only a small pub but I always visit when I escape the Isle of Wight. There roast dinners are yummy.
