Friendly Historical Pub

Having recently had a complete facelift, The Invincible is now a comfortable and attractive social bar to enjoy a range of quality beverages. From Organic Spirits to Real Ales and Ciders, Fine Wines, Premium Draught, Quality Soft Drinks and Freshly Ground Coffee.

Popped in before Warriorfest last weekend. Really excellent proper pub. Staff were really really friendly and keen to chat about drinks. 3 Ales, London Pride, Ghost Ship and Sharps Atlantic - really good tasting and good price - £3.30. Comfortably the best pub in The Hard area.
The food is absolutely BANGING! Cheeky couple feeds wasnt expecting much, good pub food was the highest expectation... Blew that expectation out the water like a Japanese Submarine, fries that'd leave a chippies wife's knickers moist and a burger to make the chicken proud, The fish was fresher the Bel-air, might as well have gone diving with a deep sea fryer, Highly recommend
Went in on a Monday for a few drinks before a concert at the Portsmouth Guildhall. Served straight away by a friendly chatty member of staff and massive bonus. Free pool too. Nice relaxed friendly atmosphere.
Recently refurbished and they have made a good job of it. Drinks are a good price for the location that it is in and not as packed as the other pubs just round the corner. Well worth a visit.
Very good modern bar. Clean tidy and friendly staff. As other pubs in this area they offer discount to naval personel with id. A safe place to walk in, sit and relax
Went there today with friends to have a meal and watch the England game the atmosphere was electric. Nice to see the new management who are great and with all staff made for a great day the food was excellent Make sure you visit its well worth it
Attended a private function hear, good selection of drinks and cheerful staff. Food could have been better but was adequate.
Great food and a good atmosphere. Staff are welcoming. There are also event through the Week.
Only been here the once with work colleagues , i dont drink but looked nice and tidy, could be going back in September so more than happy to go back again.
