The food here is magnificent. The City used to be awash with wonderful cafes like this! The staff are lovely people too. My wife and I will be returning, and I'm there again today hopefully. Recommended!Food: 5/5
Just a lovely old school cafe run by good people. I like to get myself a Jacket Potato for lunch which comes with a nice little side salad. They have mounds of delicious looking pasta in the window. Trying some of that next time. Can't go wrong.Food: 5/5
Working in the area and popped in for a coffee eaely morning. Really liked the look of the food available so came back for lunch. We had chicken, rice, vegetables and roast potatoes. Portion size was v good and the food was really tasty. The three fellas working in there were great and we enjoyed their banter. Really good value 2 x meals and 2 x drinks £24. Would definitely reccomend
I’m not sugarcoating that this place may not look so appealing at first glance, but I eventually ended up loving it! We were looking for a place to chat with my friend after 7. Most places in Farringdon close down by 7, or are very busy. We decided to give it a go as it was literally the only option around the area. We only had coffee, but it was reasonably priced in fact, it is a pound cheaper than average prices in chain cafes and was tasty. The owner of the shop was a very friendly and lovely person, loved his jokes I really appreciate such places, with nice service and local vibes.
Just had my pants pulled down and spanked, charged me £15.50 for a chicken escalope baguette and a coffee, how you not embarrassed to charge that amount is comical !
We have taken an english breakfast, it has been delicious, generous with a good portion ! Staff are kind, quick and have an excellent know how ! Great ambianceFood: 5/5
Cozy neighbourhood eatery. Super friendly staff. Enjoyable lunch - lasagne comes with salad, while carbonara needs more seasoning. Great value
Cafe in heart of Faringdon serving honest, tasty full English. Way better than many of the swanky hotels in the surrounding area! Lunch sandwiches are also to die for!Food: 5/5
Charged me £9 for a jacket potato when it says £5.5 on their menu. On top of that I was buying food for a homeless man and she overcharged me!
Recommended by local policeman so great hopes! Traditional cafe popular with local construction workers and good for old fashioned breakfast etc. Would have marked higher but I think their pricing is a bit ad lib. My English breakfast and extra coffee was listed as £6.50 but as I had a £10 note in my hand at the till, that's how much my bill was! Could have argued but friendly staff and I couldn't be bothered!
