We were really looking forward to our meal with friends having enjoyed great experiences in Koh Noi in Christchurch. Once again the food and service was great. Unfortunately, this particular restaurant insists on playing music very loudly. It was impossible to hold a conversation without shouting and our requests for the volume to be reduced was refused on the orders of the management. My wife came away with a splitting headache and we will not be returning to this particular venue. If you are thinking of visiting this restaurant, be prepared to engage in shouting if you want to be heard.

I went with my wife and mother. It was lovely food that we couldn't fault. The waitress even kindly advised us that she thought we had ordered too many starters .. she was correct as we deleted two and still had enough ! The service timing was spot on and the staff very efficient. I would say that the only downside was the music, it was far too loud for us and especially my elderly mother, we got used to it but conversation wasn't always easy. We would be tempted to go there again.
