Awful experience at Lookers BMW, purchased a car late March and it was perfect. Under their stewardship until collection someone had chipped the alloy upon fuelling. I accept that accidents happen, the collection date was pushed back but a full alloy refurbishment wasn’t done, instead a paste was used to disguise the damage. Masking tape was found on the car/wheel when it was collected and it had run onto the tyre. Tyre pressures were also incorrect. If the staff were honest about what had happened and carried out the correct repair it wouldn’t have been a problem. After a month of chasing them to get it sorted, they finally got the wheel repaired but it wasn’t as planned. The arrangements were to pick the car up on Thursday with it being returned on Friday. I had chased during the week to see what the arrangements were with no reply, only for a member of staff to turn up unannounced on Friday to collect the vehicle. The work has been carried out but the goodwill gesture they offered of refuelling the car given Im based in stourbridge wasn’t full filled. Awful service, it’s a push that Im giving it a one star review. Communication throughout has been really poor.
I had a fantastic experience with the BMW Stafford parts department, all thanks to Douglas! He was super prompt in sorting out exactly what I needed and made the whole process smooth. His customer service was top-notch, and I left feeling like everything was taken care of perfectly.
I’ve been thinking about going electric & I narrowed it down to a Mini JCW , Abarth 500e , Alpine a290. So I’ve been arranging extended test drives to see which one I like the best. Abarth were fantastic & have arranged a 36 hour test drive. Mini offer a 24 hour test drive in there’s electric & I was offered one from Sytner mini but they only had the small battery on as there were just renewing there demo fleet. So I contacted mini again & they sent a request to Lookers mini Stafford.nnToday i received a call of one of there sales men & I must say it’s one of the worst experiences I’ve had from a dealership.nI was 100% up front with him about the 3 cars I liked. His response was well I’m not going to invite you to come & see us until you have decided you want a mini & you’re ready to buy !!!!!!!!!! He suggested calling them after my Abarth test drive if that wasnt for me.nnWho the hell does he think he is , If I want to visit the showroom I will. And Even if the Abarth & the Alpine tests drives don’t go well , It doesn’t automatically mean I will buy a mini as I might not like it. And I will look & test cars on my time scale not yours. Also I don’t like my time being wasted , Why not say strait away you don’t do 24 hour test drives at your dealership !!!!nAll I know is I’m not spending 40k plus on a mini that advertises its range as 250 but some road testers say it’s more like 180 to 220 so I need to know what it does when I’m driving it. Because of this terrible experience even if I decide to buy a mini it want be off Lookers Stafford
I’ve had a a few BMW’s, each I have brought from Lookers Stafford. Their sales team are professional and I’ve never felt like they’re pushing a hard sale.nnThe Service Team are next level. It’s great to buy a nice car, but you want the knowledge that the support to keep your car top notch is there.nnI just picked my 330 up from its major service. From the point I booked it in to collection was great. Katie the service advisor and Jack the technician were customer focused, seldom do you receive that kind of care anywhere. I generally felt like I was their only customer for the day - thank you
Best car dealership I’ve ever bought from. I made an enquiry about a brand new X1 in stock with p/x my BMW M135i. Kacey contacted me , very professional and customer centric. Arrived at the dealership and genuinely made to feel very welcome. My M135i was appraised and valued and the new X1 was waiting with trade plates ready for me to test drive. The deal was reached and I agreed to purchase the car. The next bit was very impressive, Kacey said “Would you like to take the car today?” This was going above and beyond and rarely happens today! The car was ready a few hours later complete with a great handover. Big thank you to Kacey - you are a credit to the dealership. Loving my new car btw.
