Knight’s Hill Surgery has a good team of professionals. Reception is the first port of call and are welcoming. Martha the Pharmacist is brilliant and patient, at helping me understand and discuss any concerns with my medication. Donna the nurse was absolutely fantastic, the last time I was there. She went out of her way to answer my concerns and put me at ease, before I left the surgery. Donna is thoughtful and caring and comes highly recommended!
This is easily the best GP practice I have been with over the past 16 years of living in London. All of their staff receptionists, nurses, doctors are incredibly professional and kind, and they seem to be constantly working on improving their service in noticeable ways ease of booking appointments, communication.
Had a phone appointment yesterday to discuss some details of my DEXA scan and it was a very positive experience. The only minor issue was that the call arrived after the allocated time, but the clinician was very thorough and professional and addressed my doubts in a very caring way. Very satisfied!
My GP surgery is the best. Always willing and ready to help. They always squeeze in to serve despite the minimal appointment slots. I have never had a reason to complain. Dedicated, empathic, and professional. Standards maintained
Told me my child with fever and vomiting is not a priority and cannot be seen the same day. Then sent us to a pharmacist who told us this is beyond his competence. This is a really bad surgery. The receptionist is so rude and terse. We are changing surgeries. You are much better off at Valley Road Surgery if you have kids as they have dedicated pediatric GPs and the most professional and polite receptionist,
I almost don’t want to recommend the surgery as it means more people will join it! But they are excellent. Night and day to my past surgery m. Every single person is kind caring and helpful.
Getting a repeat prescription from this surgery is an absolute nightmare! If you email the surgery with prescription, they completely ignore the email and do not act on the request for days. Then if you telephone them, they deny receiving the email. If you complain about this to the GP, they will advise you to use the NHS app for requesting repeat prescription, but NHS App does not connect with the GP Surgery system. You end up waiting for days often without medications or having to rely on over the counter medications at extra cost. Doctors who work in the surgery are very good and professional and want to do the right thing! But everything else around support services that are essential for the surgery to work well is inadequate and do not work. Some staff in the reception are good, but then you have some bad apples, who are genuinely rude and do not want to serve patients. With regret I have to conclude that that this surgery is not fit for purpose and I would discourage and dissuade people from registering with this surgery. Update 12th January 2024 I am pleased with the surgery's response. Since I first complained they have improved the process around dispense of repeat prescriptions. I hope that my recent better experience is reflective of the service they provide to all patients. Update 14th September 2024 I am very pleased with the service the surgery now offers. Clearly they have improved dramatically their process around dispensing repeat prescription. I emailed the surgery for repeat prescription on Thursday and after 24 hours I received the text message from Martha Pharmacist informing that my medications have been issued!! Also I saw Dr Nathan Brown the Resident GP at the surgery other day. He is very good. He listens to your concerns and make note of everything and deals with issues promptly not in old style way, and decisively that includes ordering a range of diagnostics and hospital referral if required then and there itself. I felt that I was listened to and supported with my care needs. To mention two other fine doctors: Alison M and Dr S. Prabhakaran. Like I said before, I had a fantastic care and treatment by all doctors in the surgery. Now I am pleased to make a point that they have also improved all the support systems pharmacist support, better caring and understanding reception staff and a responsive practice manager around the running of the surgery! It shows how a constructive feedback works to improve the overall quality of the service. I am truly impressed with the turnaround. I would now definitely recommend the surgery to my family and friends!
Friendly reception staff who show empathy, and some of the loveliest doctors I’ve ever had. The surgery is within a lovely, clean building, situated in the park. Call backs from doctors are reliable, and they take time to deal with your queries and show real care.
I had an excellent experience . My issue was dealt with care and understanding. I now feel confident enough to move forward with my life. Thank you Knights Hill you are the best surgery.
I have been a patient at knight's Hill Surgery for almost 20 now and have alway found them to be helpful, caring and professional. The staff on reception are very professional and will do there best to accommodate you where the can. In my experience, the doctors and nurses, have been excellent with getting me diagnosed, treated and their follow-up care is faultless. Over the years, I have only had one unpleasant experience from one Doctor. Thankfully that was a long time ago. Yes it has become harder to book appointments, but that is everywhere. My colleagues are always complaining about their GP Surgery also. Knights Hill Surgery does there best for everyone.
