A very well managed site with friendly staff. This is a former Priory and the Abbey Ruins are quote intact in places. The priory is in the valley formed by the River Derwent and is a very peaceful spot with many walks starting from there

Lovely place. Very clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. It's lovely for walking the dog around as well. It tells you about the history of the place on notice boards. It's lovely for a little picnic. Nice for couples.

Very nice site with plenty of history. Limited things to look at compared to some sites and no audio tour that I think would help. The suppression really did a number here, so not enough for a long visit but good to combine as part of your day out.

Beautiful peaceful place, with a fascinating history. Well managed and run English Heritage site, small with lovely views
