A quick visit into this church as part of a trip to see Hovingham Hall although I have popped in before doing circular walks. The church has a large graveyard and what appears to be a vault. The church is bright and airy inside and has memorials to the local Worsley family who live in the hall. The church appears to be open during the day the times I have visited it and is also very quiet and peaceful.
An absolutely stunning little church! Highly recommended that you read up before or during the visit. So many fascinating points of interest.
Kept open, which is a good start. Stunning Saxon masonry and altar cross. Worth the visit.
