Extremely Poor Management and Maintenance Services at Kingsley Estate Agents I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the management and maintenance services provided by Kingsley Estate Agents. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my grievances in the hope that others will be spared from the same ordeal. One of the most glaring issues I have encountered is the abysmal handling of maintenance requests. Since leasing the property, I have faced numerous maintenance issues that have either taken an unreasonably long time to rectify or have not been addressed at all. It is disheartening to see the lack of urgency and care exhibited by Kingsley Estate Agents when it comes to ensuring the proper upkeep of their properties. Time and time again, I have had to endure the frustration of living in an apartment with unresolved maintenance issues. Each problem has been met with indifference and apathy from the management team at Kingsley Estate Agents. It is evident that they prioritize their own convenience over the well-being and satisfaction of their tenants. Furthermore, the lack of effective communication and timely updates on the progress of maintenance requests only exacerbates the already unpleasant situation. It is disconcerting to be left in the dark, uncertain of when or if these issues will ever be resolved. This negligence not only reflects poorly on the company's professionalism but also demonstrates a complete disregard for the basic rights of tenants. Given my harrowing experience, I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Kingsley Estate Agents to anyone. Their blatant disregard for the well-being and comfort of their tenants is simply unacceptable. I firmly believe that it is my responsibility to warn others about the deplorable management and maintenance practices exhibited by this company. In light of the multitude of issues I have faced, I am left with no choice but to escalate my concerns further. I fully intend to file a formal complaint with the ombudsman, as I believe that the extent of Kingsley Estate Agents' negligence warrants immediate attention and investigation. In conclusion, my experience with Kingsley Estate Agents has been marred by their inability to effectively manage and maintain the property. The lack of timely resolution to maintenance issues and the overall unprofessionalism displayed by the company have left me deeply disappointed. I implore anyone considering renting through Kingsley Estate Agents to think twice and explore alternative options that value their tenants' well-being and provide a higher standard of service.
Terrible experience. Had booked a viewing, 30 minutes before the booking they cancelled, while I was already in a taxi on the way to their office. Spoke to Alexandra and she was rude, did not show any compassion or understanding, and abruptly shut the phone on me. Will be taking this further as it is unacceptable behaviour.
The staff is very professional and helpful. This is my first rental in the UK, so I needed a little extra help understanding the procedures and bureaucracy, but the agents were super agile and provided all the help I needed. I am very happy with their service, and highly recommend it.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism
Beware of this agency. They will charge you fees but do nothing from protecting you from malicious landlord. they have no control over how the deductions are made. Whatever you do, do not rent from the landlord Richard Cohen. He is a high paid lawyer and can do whatever he likes. He refused to fix the broken shower that was there when i moved in and during almost two years, he never fixed it. I left early due to his unwillingness to invest his money into fixing what was broken with the flat when i moved in. He removed most of my deposit because i left early. The real estate agency was not able to do anything and he said that i could take him to court but that i would be wasting my time because he is a professional high paid lawyer. BEWARE OF THE DISHONEST MALICIOUS LANDLORD, RICHARD COHEN. GREEDY AND GAINS PLEASURE FROM OTHERS SUFFERING!!
Eyal Landau the owner is fraud. Even the firemen escorted him off my property when he called them saying he smelt gas! Wasting every emergency services time. He turns up at my door when I have no contract with him in GARAGES missold as flat without any building control. Dreadful, avoid. Should NOT have ombudsman status. They even suggested a fine against them but I think I’ll go legal because they are horrible people that think fraud is fun INCLUDING DOUBLE LET INHABITABLE GARAGE UNITS with no building control!!
They are the best agent ever! I have stayed in a flat under their management for four years, and they are very helpful and responsive. They dealt with all sorts of fixing and repairing professionally and efficiently. Huge thank you to you all and especially to Shternie!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Good to know there is an agency like this. Very professional and know a lot about the market. They priced my house perfectly so that I had lots of potential buyers through it and multiple offers. Be careful hiring KINGSLEYS to sell your home… You’ll be homeless before you know it. Highly recommend them
This is by far the worst agency I have ever dealt with. My grievances are as follows: 1. They are happy to make promises and write them into the contract. Do not believe them! I am moving out in a couple of weeks and still waiting for work to be done which was meant to be carried out before we moved in. They keep saying they'll do it. Then nothing. You call them again and they say they'll do it, but they don't - for a whole year! 2. Their maintenance team is extremely unprofessional. The woman who runs it, Shternie Gorman, has a poor level of English, takes forever to get anything done, rarely responds to emails and has gone home when we had arranged a meeting in the office before - and no apology. To me this shows extreme incompetence and very unprofessional behaviour. 3. When things require maintenance they take forever to get them fixed. 4. We had an electrical inspection and were told there were issues. However, they refused to show us the report or tell us what the issues were. This house also has electrical sockets behind the kitchen draining board, which to me is a safety hazard. 5. They insist on advertising quite clearly 2 bedroom houses as 3 bedroom ones, which is just shady. The house we live in has 1 large bedroom , 1 very small bedroom and a 3rd "bedroom" which can only be accessed via the 1st bedroom. I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure that a bedroom requires an entrance to a communal space, like a corridor or a reception room. I feel it should be a 2 bedroom house and the 3rd bedroom should be advertised as what it is - a reception room. I think they do this to allow them to charge more rent. 6. When doing viewings, the agency staff wear a mask, but pull it under their chin halfway through. Also the people viewing the property were not wearing masks. Pretty sure they have to by law. 7. They are not open Saturdays, which is just extremely inconvenient for anyone who is not a jew. They say they are open Sundays, but they only ever have 1 person in who cannot do anything - so they might as well be shut. 8. I can see them trying to claim my deposit for issues which were present with the house before we moved in. Luckily we have everything documented, but I can still see them trying to make us fight for it. They seem like that sort of people. This agency has given me a year of extreme frustration and annoyance, which wouldn't be as bad if they weren't charging really high rent on a property which is falling apart in a rubbish area of the city. Would avoid them at all costs.
I'm dealing with Kingsleys Estates for three years and never had a problem. They've managed to meet all my needs and to provide help every time I needed it. They are very kind and professional people providing an excellent service. Well deserved five stars.
The best agency in north London. Most helpful and kind staff ever. Merav has been the most supportive, understanding and kind lady we've ever had the pleasure to work with during our year long house hunt and I couldn't possible recommend this agency more! 5* plus!
