Selling my property through Alex croft at cedars estate, was the best choice I could have made! The whole process from start to finish was seemless. I’m a long term Tenant with Cedar Estate in London and found them very reliable, prompt in repairs and trustworthy. Ms Viktoria Herkner in Management department is very quick to reply and responsive to any repair request, addressing it fast and effectively. Having a small dog - she always ensures - it is safe to all parties to enter when I am not there. I highly recommend them to any Tenant.

Please avoid Cedar Estates at all costs. They will lie to you, put your health/safety at risk, only care about taking as much money from you as possible and charge you for services they didn’t undertake. Let me provide supporting evidence for each of these 4 claims: 1. Cedar Estates will ignore any requests for cosmetic work to the flat, both at the point of signing the tenancy agreement and during the tenancy itself. When signing the tenancy agreement, we had agreed that Cedar Estates would clean behind the fridge/freezer and replace kitchen tiles that were broken. These requests were not completed when we moved in and despite them repeatedly saying that they would fix them, they never did during the 2 year tenancy. 2. Cedar Estate will put your health and safety at risk. The fire alarm in the communal hallway kept on going off. As this was occurring out of hours, we called the emergency number on the control panel who insisted that they need approval from Cedar Estates before being called out. Cedar Estates subsequently requested we press the “silence the alarm” button and do not reset the box. By not resetting the box, all future fire alarms would be silenced. This put our health and safety at risk for c. 1 year as we would not have been alerted and if a fire was to break out in the communal hallway. 3. Cedar Estates will take as much money from you as possible. I requested to terminate my contract 2 months early and had found a replacement tenant so that the landlord would not be out of pocket. Despite this, they insisted I pay the full rent outstanding until the new tenant would move in, and 10% of the outstanding rent + VAT between the new tenant moving in and the end of the tenancy. The latter point essentially meaning the landlord was getting rent from 2 parties for the same property. 4. Cedar Estates will charge you for services they never undertook. When trying to get my deposit back, they tried taking deductions of £100 for cleaning the oven, and £76 in damages which they claim was to replace 3 lightbulbs. The check in report for the new tenants showed that neither the oven had been cleaned or the lightbulbs had been replaced.
Amir was excellent with us! He was efficient on organizing the contract, and gave us all needed support during the whole process. Small issues were solved quick, and he responded all the questions we had all the way through.
