We stayed for one night. The menu looked good but we haven't eaten at the time of writing this review. The reason for the low score is that our room was above the bar /restaurant area. After a five hour drive I wanted to get some rest and relaxation before dinner. No chance of that as the noise was terrible. I'm not looking forward to trying to get some sleep later!

My wife and I have used the Kingston Inn on and off for over 40 years and until now the quality has always been good - excellent, however a recent 30% increase in the cost of the Monday Club 3-course came as a bit of a shock today, especially as this is the fist time since we've been using the pub that we had to actually highlight an issue with one of our meals, which seem to have shrunk and dropped in quality. The schnitzel was extremely greasy and the new potatoes overcooked. I did raise the issue but no one other than the excellent waiter seemed concerned. It's never a good sign when the meals are served almost immediately after one course has finished. I sincerely hope that this is a one-off as we'd hate to lose such a wonderful hostelry, I say concentrate on the quality or else you may find more people questioning their loyalty.

Me and my partner eat here every so often, and love it every time. We usually have something different and like that fact that the menu changes often enough. All of the meals come out looking absolutely fantastic and taste just as good. Staff are warm and attentive. Only complaint would be that the brownie isn't always on! Best one I've ever had! Prices are slightly higher than average but so is the quality and presentation. Definitely worth the money. Would definitely recommend.

Found us a table for lunch just 10 minutes before the kitchen closed last Monday. Full Monday Club menu was available. Good food and very good service. Highly recommended and will be returning.

Beautiful Valentine's day meal. Food was amazing and staff were attentive and lovely. Would definitely go again!
