We had an excellent Sunday lunch, the building is impressive and the atmosphere sophisticated. The service was brilliant from the minute your were greeted. Very good wine selection which was a bonus for me. First rate Sunday lunch, Oysters followed by Beef and Creme Brulee dessert with good wines. Staff were friendly and wanted to serve - we will certainly be back
The menu offer some dishes with some interesting ingredients mix, which kinda blends together but leaves a weird but satisfying taste. I think the menu was a bit boring so I was pleasantly surprised that the vegetarian burger I ordered was tasty and delicious, very filling but not to heavy. I HIGHLY commend the Kiwi mousse with citrus and rosemary! Like I said, interesting mixed of flavour that's leaves a weird and satisfying taste. Alex our host/waiter was excellent and knowledgeable, and despite being busy offered a great service. Personally perhaps it was where we were seated but personally it was to dim for me. It's been on my list for a long time as the resturant is part of a iconic hotel that's been featured several times across the different media platform, and pop culture. Check the hotel out. Vegetarian options: I had a tasty vegetarian burger Dietary restrictions: I would suggest to call on advance to review it Parking: Limited pain parking outside hotel otherpaid garage is closed by. Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes the hotel have added ramps for you woulsfdejj0d to oo
The Booking Office at St Pancras station offers a captivating blend of historic charm and modern elegance—ideal for travelers and locals alike. The atmosphere is truly unique, housed in a restored Victorian railway hotel with high ceilings and grand arches, making it feel like you've stepped back in time. One of the highlights is the personal touch from the staff, particularly Ignacio, the welcoming mixologist. He's not only skilled in his craft but genuinely interested in feedback, often using it to perfect his team's monthly cocktail creations. The team here is attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making your experience memorable. Whether you're unwinding before a journey or simply looking for a refined spot in London.
The Booking Office 1869 in London is a visually stunning restaurant with an interior that captures the elegance of Victorian design. However, my recent experience there was far from satisfactory. Despite the promising ambiance, I found myself waiting an excessively long time to be served. Unfortunately, the service was so slow that I eventually decided to leave without having eaten anything. While the decor is undoubtedly impressive, the poor service overshadowed what could have been a delightful dining experience. Improvements in service efficiency are essential to match the grandeur of the setting. I will give this place another chance however when I’m in the local area again.
Impressive ambience, stunning architecture and very special surroundings for celebrating special occasions. Food is sub-par, nothing to go back for. Service was very slow. Family had the Sunday roast no one was impressed, they all had better elsewhere. My beetroot dish was interesting, gem lettuce salad under-dressed.Food: 2/5
No doubt a very beautiful restaurant by the St Pancras station. Friendly service. Fine dining experience, above average food and the menu has several vegan and vegetarian options. Kid's menu available as well! A great place for special occasions.Food: 5/5
We were received by a loveliest lady at the front, and the waiters were equally great. The food was absolutely amazing. I had one of their recommended cocktail and will definitely go back for it.Food: 5/5
My partner and I had a lovely time in celebrating her birthday at Booking Office 1869. Which was most special for the both us, as it was also the very first place where we had our first date. I'd like to thank the staff and the chef for the high standards of their service, and we look back to returning again in the future with friends and family.
The ambiance of this place is perfect.. Posh and with true, background music, not overpowering --but def upbeat. Cross from late 20s-40s. Whether or not you are passing thru the train station we did early dinner, you should visit either for drinks or food--which was quite good. Carrot salad, green salad, steak, sea bass. My guest has been there for the Sunday Roast, which was not their favorite, fyi Vegetarian options: I was surprised by the fresh deliciousness of simple vegetarian side salads, such as the green and carrot.
The Booking Office is a fantastic location, part of the historically significant Grade I listed St. Pancras International Station. Their web site says ‘Old World European Charm meets the dry wit of London’. This captures the essence of the location. We went for dinner on a July Saturday evening. For main I chose the Chalk stream trout with Caper & raisin puree, cauliflower & radish, opting for the Koffman’s truffle & Parmesan fries with Black truffle, oregano & garlic to accompany. The trout was perfectly cooked, the fries with just the right amount of truffle to taste. For dessert my selection being the Crème Brûlée with a perfect topping of a layer of hardened caramelized sugar. Our waitress was always most attentive. Water offered on arrival whilst we decided what to eat. The food arrived in a timely manner. The atmosphere of the location has a vibrancy of people enjoying themselves in a most relaxed location. The chairs most comfortable. Forbes magazine described the Booking Office 1869 as ‘Majestic’ and it is.
