Spent two nights here after a work conference. The manager couldn't have been more welcoming even though it was late and most of the staff had gone home-even offered to fix me some food as I had missed dinner. The room was decorated nicely and clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend and will use again next spring. I think the manager was called Chris-really nice guy and great customer service. Thank you!

Bad experience overall, with the hotel. Very expensive for a non-breakfast hotel. Supper expensive considering the state of the room. One of the drawers have dirt socks next to the bible... Looking through the window we could see such an amount of rubbish that certainly it was not cleaned since Dickens' times. Without mentioning the disgusting smell in the staircase leading to the room's and in the hall. The only people I would recommend to visit this hotel is someone from the heath and safety executive. Hopefully they will do it soon, for the sake of the tourism in such a beautiful village that is Rochester.
