Rooms are basic but adequate and clean although could do with modernisation. Visited this hotel as it's pet friendly and we were okay with 2 dogs in the room. Breakfast was included in the price and to be fair, it was extremely good for the money. You can do better but you'd pay a lot more for it. Given it 4 stars for the value and the staff but room standard is more like a good 2.

Room was large with a nice four poster bed, the room was very warm over night even tho was freezing outside. The bathroom was good size with a whirlpool bath, was great to use but took an age to fill, we had breakfast delivered to the room which was very nice.

Easy to park, car park large, very friendly and helpful staff,room was clean and comfy my only problem I went at Xmas and bar wasn't open but you could purchase drinks from reception a bit more expensive

Very old hotel. Had nightclubs many years ago but now part of the venues are hirered out for party's weddings engagements etc. Thoroughly recommend the liberty suite. Good prices to.
