Faulty Towers from the eastern block. If your single need drugs drink or girls here's your place to be. ThThe owner is an Asian Basil Faulty and he also has a Manwell behind the bar. If your single my God it's funny to watch. Not a family place to stay

A sign at the bar reads "be kind or leave" - fair and important as it's about a good time. You'd expect it to be welcoming the least, but the barmaid was acting cold - as if Santa didn't gave her something during Christmas. £4 Guinness, okay, but my first and last

We thought the pub was in need of some TLC, but the welcome and service could hardly have been better.  The room was suitably sized for two adults and, above all, it was clean.  We would stay again for similar purposes - it was for us a staging post on the way to France.

Cheap and clean. Breakfast was either missing completely (first morning) or was terrible (second morning), so wouldn't recommend for bed and ... erm ... well the bed was OK. Shower didn't work either.
