Attended for emergency appointment which needed a wisdom tooth removal. All staff were lovely and friendly and reassuring. Thanks to my treating dentist who managed to get my stubborn wisdom tooth out and ensured I wasn’t in pain but also big shout out to Emma and Jo who were very friendly. During extraction Jo was so reassuring and calming even though I was very nervous, she went above and beyond to make me feel calm in what is a naturally unpleasant situation. Thank you for making my experience as positive as it could be!
Referred by our dentist as my 6 year old son had an extra tooth that needed extracting. We were seen by Dr Vikash Patel. He and his team were incredibly professional and made the whole experience as easy and painless as possible for my son. Thank you!
I visited Kings Dental Unit to day. I had to attend the Bisphosphonate Dept. for advice re extraction of a root canal filling broken tooth . I was most impressed with the kindness and professionalism of the Dentists I saw. Their advice and knowledge was exemplary. I was happy to not have my tooth extracted at this stage due to the knowledge and information shared with me. I was also impressed with the courtesy shown to me in the X Ray Dept and Reception area. Only complaint I had was the wait I had from the time my own Dentist referred me to the appointment to day. Well worth the wait. Well done Kings Dental Unit.
Just had wisdom tooth removal by a lovely team at Kings Dental, was quick and painless under local anaesthetic. Post op slightly puffy cheeked and some tenderness but nothing awful.
Not about the dental institute but the Costa coffee shop as you enter the dental institute. There is a mid age white lady brown hair in a ponytail. Seeming to be from Eastern Europe judging by the accent. She is so rude, no smile and unpleasant. I asked her for an extra empty cup as the coffee she gave me was extremely hot, she barked at me that the cups are 50p. Not ever heard of this. Last week I got coffee from the same shop and she didn’t mention the extra 50p. She then huffed like she was so frustrated and annoyed serving me.
Visited Kings Dental Institute on Thursday 11th July following an emergency appointment booked by 111 NHS service. I was in a excruciating pain from my wisdom tooth and finally I was assessed and managed by Kings Dental nurses and dentist. From beginning the receptionist and staff were great and after I have been assessed thorougly made my way to X-ray department where the lady was very friendly and professional, this was the first time I saw the X-ray machine as modern as they were using and I was impressed with the image quality. Following examination of X-ray photos, I have been given some advice on how to proceed and I had an option to continue with my root canal treatment, but decided to extract the tooth as I couldn't bear the pain anymore. Thankfully ,I was given a same day appointment by supervisor nurse and went back after lunch to Oral Surgery Department on 4th floor. The dentist introduced himself and told me that he will be dealing with my issue. He was professional and friendly and I felt at ease after he explained the procedure to me fully. During the extraction of my wisdom tooth and as a result of structural issue with the tooth, my tooth broke and the dentist had to get one of the root by performing some kind of surgery and took out both roots successfully. Everything was being communicated to me throughout the procedure and I can't thank enough this team of dentist and nurse who helped me and comfort me during this difficult time. I am grateful for their efforts and excellent work.
Got a emergency appointment, for broken wisdom tooth, staff, doctors, nurses very friendly, and helpful, provided exceptional service, did my xray straight away, sent me for surgery for tooth to be removed, very quickly done, was out in no time, provided great aftercare, thanks dr sachin and the other staff who helped,
Did my operation last year, now I'm pulling broken teeth in my gums but you can't help the issues you caused. Thanks for the hell your putting me through just because you sleep peacefully at night. Problems that happen at your hospital but I have to speak to my dentist, it wasn't my dentist that put me to sleep and messed up my mouth and teeth. Wished someone actually cared and took accountability but I guess not.
I am severely needle phobic and my dentist Ria Prasad has been so kind, patient and professional with me over the years. I don't think I would have been able to get the work done that I so desperately needed if I didn't have her.
Had a positive experience with a painful tooth removal. Sadly I can't remember the names. Everyone done a great work. Thank You.
