Traditional cafe near end of town high Street. Pleasant service . Simple menu with good price points . Would definitely use again . Seating outside and inside with an upstairs seating area open at various times . Nice mix of customers.
I love going to diners and cafes when visiting different cities. Kings coffee is one of the best as far as service, quality and cost. When I am in Chelmsford, I go here a few times for a great latte and a fulle English breakfast. They are located in the center of the shopping district and when you enter it cozy and the staff are very friendly, food is always on point and comes out piping hot. They will adjust the dishes based on your requests, always leave here satisfied.
Very lovely food, this is my third time visiting this place. Highly recommended Great service overall

Went there today tea and toast bacon sandwich worst I’ve had tea like fish waler probably rubbish tea bags toast not even done properly complain to man at till he called chief he came out and half smile I could have poked him in the eye £6.50 I won’t be going there no more it use to be good but no more
Good, old fashioned cafe style place, food is good, milkshakes awesome and neither is over priced.
Really friendly staff! Visited first time today and delighted to add another decent breakfast place to my list. Thank you Ladies!
Lovely staff , nice food and cheap
Worse experience ever!!! Sat at the table for more than 10 minutes but we were just being left behind, customer at the next table come after us but they were being served first and we were just kept sitting and being ignored. They did not even give us the menu but at the same time the next table came after us already had their order taken. We then tried to approach the waitress but what we have got back was a impatient reply. You are totally aware that you have left us behind for long!! I underatand you MAYBE busy at around 2pm while everyone had already finished their lunch and most of them already left the shop. Whatsoever, this is not an excuse to leave someone behind and choose to serve someone else who come afterward. Absolutely worst service I ever had in my life. I walked out and I will never come back again. I believe I had made such a wise decision, we then went to another cafe next to a canel, 50m away, food are okay, and the most important is the services is 1000 times better than Kings Coffee House. I really looking for a day the management get changed, then that maybe the times we coming back. Best of Luck King Coffee House.
