Wouldn't go back. Don't be deceived by the photos. Chicken & Mushroom pie, pastry like a brick, only 2 tiny chicken pieces no mushrooms, chips best thing,gravy thick. Steak pie, pastry hard hardly any steak inside. Very disappointing. Drinks Glass of pinot that was fine but 1st pint of larger sent back flat & tasted vile
Nice pint of Guinness here, reasonable prices too. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space. At the weekends they have a DJ on inside. If this is to your taste then the music outside might be. Adding to my review the fact that the real ales have been off both times I have been recently. Once on a Friday and once mid week. I like to try new ales. {sad_face_emoji}
First time back since multiple negative experiences. Out of what I wanted to eat and what was suggested in its place was overpriced, tiny and served in the least appealing way possible. Despite many others complaining to my knowledge the food seems to constantly fall short of standards whether it be size, quantity, temperature or served in a timely manner without having to ask staff multiple times. I've given up on this location for over 4 years despite being a regular in the past
The Kings Arms has been part of the Billingham community for almost 100 years. I have worked as an ex pat for many years but the Kings Arms is always my first port of call when I return to the Uk. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff are very friendly and courteous and always greet you with a smile. The smell when the pizza ovens are in use is amazing and the standard of the pizzas are exceptional and very tasty. I will continue to make the Kings my pub of choice for many years to come.
Nice enough food. Quiet at the time we went. Needs to be clearer of the offers didn't stand out on the menu for the 2 for £12.99
Had breakfast with Santa here, Santa was an absolute joke my 5 year old grandson was convicted it wasn’t the real Santa, you could see his normal clothes and shoes and his beard was a disgrace, please make the effort next time as you charged enough, not that we’ll be going back. Poor poor show
Food good, reasonable prices, didnt have to wait too long for food, and staff are brilliant, very helpful and polite. Enjoyed the experience.
Excellent service and food was a good quality. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Dan always make sure my dog is looked after bringing treats and water. Highly recommend. Will be back Have since been back and the food is excellent especially there stone baked pizzas. Visited again and service again was excellent
Food tasted awful. My mac and cheese was just microwaved and was full of water. Wouldn't recommend it and we'll certainly won't be going back.
5 starts to customer service as well as food quality. Visit often and while I always go for nachos my company are working through the menu. The staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. The nachos are home fried tortillas and are just pure aceness. That's it. ACENESS
